PNFB began in a hotel room in Galena, IL in January 6, 2021. Producer Barb Sorensen was traveling on a cold snowy winter's evening from Iowa to Illinois. She found a quaint hotel at the border to spend the night in, and began checking her emails.  She read only fear, disbelief, and confusion in her friends emails. She felt inspired by the mainstream media to create something more positive for her friends and family to focus on as the world shivered and hid indoors out of the tumult and bullying being encouraged and presented worldwide.

An overwhelming amount of messages received from fans who are grateful to hear something positive again, has kept this news feed going. As the pandemic restrictions have lifted, people are still seeking their weekly feel good inspiring news as they go about their day to day activities. Thank you to all of you!
