It is our great pleasure to announce that the PNC 2023 Annual Conference and Joint Meetings will take place at the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan, from November 3-5 (Friday-Sunday), 2023. 


The main theme is Sea Change: Renewal, Reform and Resolve in Global Arts, Sciences, and Business


The program will focus on topics including (but not limited to) Sea Change: Spaces and Places Rethought and Renewed, Sea Change in Techniques and Technologies of Cultural Memory, Reform of Pedagogy and the Liberal Arts, Socio-cultural Data in a Post-pandemic World, Innovating Businesses in a Post-Pandemic World, and Sea Change: Innovation Reform and Renewal in Sciences, Health, and Wellness.


The PNC 2023 is hosted jointly by the University of the Ryukyus, and the Pacific Neighborhood Consortium (PNC)


The PNC 2023 serves as an opportunity for researchers and developers to facilitate information exchanges among institutions of higher education in the Pacific Rim through computing and communications technology. PNC explores issues of information and technology exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of the cultural knowledge contents. The technical program of the PNC 2023 will include invited keynote speeches, paper presentations, ECAI workshops, and a poster session. 


*Kindly note that there will be NO hybrid sessions in this event.  

  Most sessions will be in-person in Okinawa with no live-streaming.
