Becoming a PMRF scholar

The PMRF Team

• The PMRF scheme at IIT Bombay was first managed by the inaugural pmrf coordinator, Professor Sharat Chandran until his tenure was over. The current PMRF coordinator) is Prof. Sivaji Ganesh of Math Department.

• The Academic Office at IIT Bombay is responsible for approving the scholarships, and the administration of the scholarship is handled by the Accounts section

• Heads of department decide on shortlisting students. The PMRF committee provides overall supervision but the technical matters are handled by the individual department Heads

• The administration of honorarium to selection committee members is handled by the IRCC team headed by Dean R&D
