Public Management Research Association

The Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2025 Public Management Research Conference (PMRC), sponsored by the Public Management Research Association (PMRA). The conference will take place from June 25 to 28, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea. We welcome proposals on all topics relevant to public management and administration, including but not limited to topics connected to the conference theme: Promoting Democratic Values through Public Management. To advance this theme, we invite participants to explore how public management practices can foster transparency, accountability, equity, and citizen engagement in governance. We particularly encourage research that examines innovative approaches to addressing democratic challenges, such as polarization, social inequality, and declining trust in public institutions.
