Python Machine Learning and Project Development

Objective:

The objective summer training program is to develop skills and train undergraduate, postgraduate and research students so that they can cope with real life problem as per data analytics & software industry demand. As we know that analysis of fast-growing data and their knowledge representation are one of the biggest problems of this modern age for better business plan. The training program will give exposure on core concept on Machine Learning and IoT using Python programming language. It will also explore the real-life problem analysis and their solutions using machine learning and IoT on the top of Python language. During the training program, will get prepare as per industry skills requirements and prepare themselves for job prospects.

About Summer Training Program:

In Machine learning, the concept of many popular algorithms of supervised learning, unsupervised learning, semi-supervised learning and reinforcement learning would be explored. You will understand the algorithms with real-life examples and how it affects society in ways you may not have guessed. Moreover, all important concepts will be covered such as data pre-processing, feature extraction, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, performance evaluation of algorithms using graphical and statistical analysis. After basic understanding of machine learning tutorial cum mini-project will be covered for better problem understanding and their solution of real life.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is infusing every aspect of our lives. But the devices are not perfect enough and lot of manual input required to achieve optimal functionality of the devices. Because, machine /devices are rarely communicated with each other, therefore there is huge opportunity to create device using machine intelligence in order to learn your preferences as per world around you in optimal way. Therefore, training program will also focus on basic concept of IoT and have hands on experience using Arduino Uno R3 device initially where Python programming language will be utilised for implementation purpose. And later phases, incorporation of machine intelligence (machine learning) to IoT will be discussed through mini-project.

Python is widely used in data science and machine learning algorithms implementation. Therefore, firstly, core python (including GUI & database connectivity) will be covered through concepts & practical. And then, modules, packages and libraries like NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib would be covered that are used for creating scalable machine learning algorithms, data science and data analysis.

Whole summer training program has formulized as follows phases- Phase-01: Covering the theoretical concept and practical (including tutorial) of machine learning, Basic concept of IoT and Python programming language. Phase-02: Machine learning using Python and IoT using Python separately followed by mini project. Phase-03: It will have group wise real-life projects which incorporate the concept of machine learning & Python and have their final open presentation.

Target Audience:

This summer training program will be beneficial for students pursuing/completed their B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc., MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc. and research scholars.

Prerequisites:

Basic experience in programming for doing practical exercises and basic knowledge of statistics and linear algebra is helpful. We assume no prior knowledge in Machine Learning, Python Programming and IoT.

Note:

Only limited number of seats are available. Selection is based on First Come First Serve as per registration.
