Josh Kosberg is an active free-lancer in the Boston and New York areas, frequently performing with the Glens Falls Symphony, Massachusetts Symphony, and Atlantic Symphony. He has been featured as a soloist with the St. Olaf Orchestra on their yearly domestic tour, performing the John Williams Bassoon Concerto, Five Sacred Trees. Josh graduated magna cum laude from St. Olaf College with a dual degree in Physics and Bassoon performance where he studied with Mark Kelley. Most recently, he graduated from the New England Conservatory with a M.M., studying with Richard Ranti. When not whittling away at pieces of wood and struggling to move his fingers fast enough for orchestras, Josh can be found hiking in any and every national park, or at the local Trader Joe’s munching on his favorite treat, half moon cookies.
