Reporting

Posts can be reported in App by tapping the “┇” in the top right corner.

You’ll choose one of three reasons — spammy, offensive or fraudulent. Reports are private and not shared with the person being reported.

What happens when I report a post?

• If a post gets more than a certain number of reports, it will be reviewed.

• The review process is done manually, but may be automated in the future.

• When a decision is reached and action is taken on the post or the author you will be notified.

• If no action is taken, you will not be notified.

What kind of decisions are made on reports?

• If the author frequently posts spammy or mildly offensive content, their casts will show up less in the feeds of people who do not follow them.

• If the author casts fraudulent content (e.g. fake news) or content that is in violation of app store rules (e.g. pornography) , we will nerf the user and they will not be able to use Application
