1. Introduction
Plumier (the "App") lets users write a diary in French, request AI corrections, and review their progress. This policy explains what information the App processes and why.
2. Information processed
The App may process:
• diary titles, text, dates, mood selections, and AI feedback created by the user;
• app preferences, learning history, and notification settings;
• if the user chooses Google sign-in: account identifier, display name, email address, and profile image URL;
• usage events, app version, device or installation identifiers, and error information;
• approximate location that Firebase Analytics may estimate from a masked IP address.
3. Diary storage
Diary entries are stored on the device by default. If a signed-in user chooses cloud backup, entries and related data are sent to Firebase for storage and synchronization.
Users can delete local entries in the App. Uninstalling the App removes local data, while cloud backup linked to an account may require a separate deletion request.
4. AI feedback
Only when the user requests a review, diary text and the learning context needed for that request are sent through Firebase Functions to an external AI provider. The information is processed to generate corrections, prevent abuse, and maintain service quality.
AI feedback is optional. Users can write, edit, and keep entries without requesting it.
5. Analytics and diagnostics
The production App may use Firebase Analytics and diagnostic services to understand feature use, retention, and failures. This may include interactions, app version, device or installation identifiers, error data, and approximate location. Diary text is not recorded as an analytics event.
6. Third-party services
The App uses Google Firebase, Google Play, and AI providers. Information sent to these services is handled under their applicable contracts and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.
7. Security
Communications use encrypted connections. We also apply access controls, authentication, and server-side validation. No electronic transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The App is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a child's personal information was processed without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete it.
9. Account and data deletion
To request deletion of a Plumier account and associated cloud data, email seok7302@gmail.com with the subject "Plumier account deletion request" and include the address used for Google sign-in.
After identity verification, we normally delete the linked Firebase Authentication account, cloud diary backups, settings, and learning data within 30 days. Users may also request deletion of specific cloud data without deleting the entire account.
Local entries can be deleted in the App. Uninstalling the App removes data stored on the device.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the public page and communicate material changes through the App or store listing when appropriate.
