Upon graduation from La ola del lago, PLSAS Spanish Immersion Students can continue their immersion studies at Middle School and High School.
Students in the program receive Social Studies courses in Spanish as well as a Spanish Language Arts Course.
6th Grade: 1 Semester Minnesota Studies, 1 Semester Spanish Language Arts (SLA)
7th & 8th Grades: 1 year American History / Global Studies and 1 year SLA course
9th & 10th Grades: 1 year Human Geography / World History and 1 year SLA course

Ruben Sacristan Gonzalez (left) is our intern from Amity International this year. Ruben is from Spain and is training to be a teacher.
Katie Kelley (center) has been a Spanish teacher abroad and in Minnesota.
She started at HOMS in 2024. She teaches the Spanish Language arts course.
Noemi Guzman (right) started teaching Immersion at HOMS in 2023 and teaches Minnesota History, American History, & Global Studies.
Adam Sink (left) started at Prior Lake High School (PLHS) in 2023 and teaches Human Geography and World History.
