The buildings surrounding the Quad on the lot are probably based on those surrounding Brookings Quadrangle on the Danforth Campus of Washington University: Busch Hall, Brookings Hall, Cupples I Hall and Ridgley Hall.
Danish collector Claus Busch Risvig only stumbled into art in 2009 by way of his in-laws, but he has been an avid art buyer ever since. By now, his varied collection, which has been shown twice in Denmark, numbers around 350 works with a focus on emerging art, including a small collection of works by artists from Iran and a strong thread of young Danish art that runs through the collection.

Our guest on this episode of the Delphian Podcast is Claus Busch Risvig, he is a Danish collector who, with his partner, created the Bech Risvig Collection. He is also on the advisory board & panel at Plop Residency and Head of Gallery Relations at Artland. We speak to him about how he got started collecting, where he looks for art, and his particular interest in emerging artists. He also gives some tips for both young collectors and artists just starting out as well as what artists can do to make themselves more discoverable to collectors.

Well, talk about it they did during a brief presentation at the restaurant in San Marco. Carl Lum, the park's president, and Larry Giles, attractions, did finally spill the beans about Tempesto, the park's new ride for 2015, which will open on April 25. The new Premier coaster even has a back story. Famed Italian daredevil Tempesto visited Busch Gardens, and left behind his "greatest stunt" to challenge future daredevils at the park. In fact, the park will be sponsoring a contest for passholders to see who will be the first 500 daredevils to take on Tempesto (details to come later).

On a sunny morning in May 2007, I visited the Anhauser-Busch Clydesdales at Sea World in San Diego. A mama mare and her young colt were in the paddock, mama grazing on the green grass, while her colt slept soundly nearby. The colt finally woke up, sleepily stood pretty still for a while, checked to see if his mama was close, then lay down on the grass again with a "plop!" - for some more sleep. They were so beautiful! These very large horses are kept in such beautiful condition, with the long white hair on their enormous hooves brushed every day. Georgeous animals! In this photo the colt had just woken up....see the sleep in his eyes?
The Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales were formally introduced to August A. Busch Sr., President of Anheuser-Busch, Inc., by his son on April 7, 1933. To qualify for one of the traveling hitches, an Anheuser-Busch Clydesdale must be a gelding (neutered male) at least four years of age. He must be 18 hands (6 ft. or 1.8 m); weigh between 1,800 to 2,000 lb. (817 - 907 kg); be bay in color; and have four white stocking feet, a blaze of white on the face and a black mane and tail.
One night last September we watched a game from the open-air Beer Deck of the three-level Budweiser Brew House, which overlooks the outfield at Busch Stadium. The experience is comparable to a Wrigley rooftop.
The current Busch Stadium, with a seating capacity of 43,000 and standing room for 3,000, replaced the one that existed in the same location from 1966-2005. Anheuser-Busch sold the Cardinals in 1996 to concentrate on the beer business but retains naming rights to the ballpark.
A few years ago, I took my grandkids to a petting farm. We were able to go inside a very large pen with the Dr. Seuss slammed I am I would drink Busch Light with a goat on a boat shirt. There was huge rocks for the goats and for people to sit on. The goats would run and jump then plop into a lap for a cuddle. We had so much fun.
