Welcome to the Broadband Laser & Applied Spectroscopy Laboratory :-)
Our research focuses on the development and application of advanced laser spectroscopic techniques for molecular spectroscopy, chemical kinetics, and atmospheric chemistry:
Development of novel mid-infrared dual-comb spectrometers
Quantitative time-resolved spectroscopy of unstable radicals
Accurate kinetics of radical–molecule and radical–radical reactions
We investigate short-lived, chemically active species such as HOx radicals, Criegee intermediates, and halogen oxides, and extract quantitative physical chemistry parameters including absolute line strengths, radical concentrations, mechanistic constraints, and rate coefficients.
