Wednesday, March 4th 6-8 PM, Poetry & collage: found poem zines.
What if a magazine was a poem, that poem was a collage, and that collage was a zine? In this writing gym workshop, participants will be able to let the words and images provided speak to them as they create poems with no expectations. This is about play! Collaging materials provided - but *bring your own scissors* advised!

Sunday, March 15th, 4-6pm, functions of inquisition in poetry & other questions, a poetry workshop with Caroline Ganci Patterson, what’s the worst thing you’ve done on accident? what’s your relationship like to your mother on thursdays? how was your day? do you like the water? do you scare easily? do you ski? in this generative workshop, we will explore what makes a good question, what makes a bad question, and when, if at all, is a good time to ask it? what happens to a story after a question is posed to it? can an argument be constructed exclusively on inquisition? who am i saying i am when i ask you to explain who you are? what happens to a poem when you don’t answer it? what if you do?
Wednesdays, March 25th through April 8th (6 weeks), 6-8 pm, Good Grief: A Poetry Workshop with Phil Schaefer, This workshop invites writers to approach grief not as confession, but as craft. In this generative workshop, we’ll explore how to write through grief rather than simply about it — shifting from diary to discipline, from reaction to energy.
