Emily Harman is a queer poet from the upper midwest, currently living in Missoula, Montana. The recipient of the 2026 Merriam-Frontier manuscript award, Emily’s work appears or is forthcoming in Shō Poetry Journal, Fugue, Bellingham Review, The Shore, Poetry Northwest, and elsewhere. Emily holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Montana, where she taught creative writing and served as Poetry Editor for CutBank. She can usually be found in the mountains, the woods, or near a large body of water with her dog.
