Join us for our Halloween Teen Mixer on Friday, October 24th, for neurodivergent students in the Tri-Valley Area.
Teens, along with a parent or guardian, are invited to spend an evening in a safe, inclusive, respectful, and FUN environment! There will be games, crafts, a photo booth, music & karaoke, as well as a quiet area with board games. Allergy-friendly snacks and water will be provided. This season’s Mixer is Halloween-themed, and costumes are welcome but NOT required! No masks allowed for this event.

Pleasanton PTA Council Special Needs Committee Partners with Vintage Hills Elementary!
Join us for a sensory-friendly Fall Festival at Vintage Hills Elementary on Friday, October 24, from 5–8 PM!
The first 30 minutes will be music-free, and music will remain at a comfortable volume for the rest of the evening to ensure everyone can enjoy the fun.
Be sure to stop by the Special Needs Committee table for a fun surprise!

Join the Pleasanton Council PTA Special Needs Committee for a fun family gathering on Sunday, September 28, from 9:30–11:30 AM at Bernal Community Park in Pleasanton. We will be at the picnic tables by the tree play structure.

Start the school year off right with a casual get together with the Pleasanton PTA Council Special Needs Committee and PUSD officials. This is a great opportunity for parents and district officials to connect, put faces to names, and continue building a strong, inclusive community for all our students.

SNC invites you to a free, in-person event, “Parenting for School Success: Tips and Strategies to Boost Confidence and Independence.” Does your student have trouble with executive functioning skills, following multi-step directions, listening, time management, staying organized, transitioning between tasks, estimating time, planning, being easily distracted… then this hands-on workshop is for you!! Learn strategies and skills to support your student at home. The workshop is lead by Beth Samuelson, M.A. She is the director of SOS4Students. Space is limited. RSVP here.
