On-Site Assistance

I am available to assist teachers with implementing and infusing instructional technology into their classroom instruction. As a "co-teacher" I offer my expertise and an "extra set of hands" to help students and teachers process, navigate, and execute the new instructional tools being implemented in order to boost confidence and help them achieve the desired learning outcomes. Whether I assist for one week or multiple weeks, my goal is to help ease the stress of teachers as they desire to introduce new tools but know that the process of actual implementation can yield a potentially frustrating experience for both teacher and student.

I will also be available to assist school districts with media services, supporting media specialists as needed.

Services I will offer to support media specialists include:

- Assisting new media centers (new schools) with start-up tasks including helping to order materials/books, helping with the physical setup after new constructions, helping to get books on the shelves and the physical space of the media center organized and functional

- Assisting and supporting first-year media specialists (even seasoned teachers new to the profession) by being a point of contact for answering questions, conducting site visits to assist with tasks as needed, etc.

- Helping to deliver technology Professional Learning to teachers

- Assisting with conducting lessons (co-teaching) with media specialists and offer support for designing technology integrated lessons

- Assisting with evaluating the library collection in media centers and helping with weeding and identifying sections that need to be supplemented

- Offering assistance in any other way as needed to support media specialists
