Safety is central to Playground Golf’s delivery model. We provide assurance through:

Paediatric first aid qualified staff
Public liability insurance
Written activity and site risk assessments
Clear safety briefings for children at every session
Defined swing and waiting zones
Foam or soft practice balls only
First aid procedures and incident reporting
All activities are adapted to the available space and weather conditions.
Playground Golf follows best practice safeguarding standards in line with UK school requirements. We operate under a written safeguarding policy and work closely with schools to ensure all child-protection procedures are followed.
Any safeguarding concerns are reported immediately in line with the school’s safeguarding policy.
First Aid
Playground Golf takes child safety seriously and has procedures in place to respond to accidents or medical incidents during sessions.
All staff are briefed on school First Aid procedures prior to delivery.
At least one member of staff present has a Paediatrich first aid qualification
Staff will not administer medication unless formally authorised.
Playground Golf staff will manage minor injuries using the school’s First Aid kit or supplied resources.
Serious incidents are reported immediately to the school’s appointed First Aider.
Parents or guardians are contacted according to the school’s existing procedures if medical attention is required.
Any incident, no matter how minor, is recorded accurately in the school’s accident book or via the school’s reporting system.
Playground Golf staff will assist with recording and ensure the information is factual, timely, and confidential.
Playground Golf always delivers sessions in clearly defined areas with safety checks conducted prior to activity.
First Aid kits are accessible and maintained either by the school or brought along by Playground Golf staff.
In the event of a serious injury, Playground Golf staff will follow the school’s emergency plan and contact emergency services immediately if required.
In the event of a serious injury, staff remain with the injured child until safely handed over to the school’s First Aider, paramedic, or guardian.
