How the sessions work
Setup
Playground Golf arrives before the session to safely set up clearly defined activity zones using mats, targets, cones, and soft balls.
Delivery
Sessions run for 45–60 minutes and consist of a warm-up, rotating activity stations, and group games. Activities focus on fun, participation, and safe play rather than instruction.
Wrap-Up
Equipment is safely packed away, and children are dismissed in line with procedures.
Outside driving range
When the weather allows, our programme transforms familiar school fields into fully equipped, child-friendly golf driving ranges. Using portable mats, clearly defined target areas, and soft-ball training equipment, we create a safe and engaging space where pupils can play golf within their own school grounds.
By bringing the driving range to the school, we remove traditional barriers to the sport and give pupils the opportunity to discover new interests, develop confidence, and have fun with friends, all in a familiar, safe environment.
Inside minigames
When outdoor play isn’t possible due to weather or light levels, our indoor putting and chipping mini-games bring golf safely inside. We transform sports halls and indoor spaces into areas of engaging, short range golf activities.
These indoor setups require no permanent equipment and can be installed and removed quickly, making them ideal for PE lessons, enrichment activities, and after-school clubs. By adapting the game for indoor spaces, pupils continue developing core golf skills in a fun, accessible way, whatever the conditions outside may be
Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets
Playground Golf now offers an exciting VR Golf option that transforms indoor spaces into dynamic golfing environments. Children can dive into virtual courses, complete with fun targets, creative challenges, and interactive gameplay.
This innovative approach keeps kids active and engaged, even when the weather isn’t on our side. Our VR Golf offerings are designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for all skill levels, fostering teamwork and coordination in a playful setting. It’s all about fun, exploration, and the joy of golf, brought to life through cutting-edge virtual reality technology.
