Robot Play for Kids
The original intention behind developing the PlayBot curriculum is to foster children's creativity, computational thinking, problem-solving abilities, and social skills through educational robotics and playful activities, equipping them with the key skills essential for the future.
The curriculum developed by our team is guided by constructionist learning theory and sociocultural learning theory. It aims to enable young children to learn computational thinking via six learning domains, including math, langauge and literacy, arts, nature and living, and physical fitness. The curriculum is comprised of children's game books, teacher manuals, instructional videos, and a screen-free robot. Tailored PD services are also available.
