After Karina received a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University, she worked as a toddler and preschooler teacher for seven years at Early Education Centers in the Bay Area. When she became a mother, her dream to open up a preschool became a reality. Karina is well aware how much every parent wants an engaging learning environment where their child can thrive, learn, and grow. Play 2 Learn takes pride in their philosophy which thrives to offer a nurturing environment with meaningful learning experiences.
Karina is excited about being a critical part of your child’s future and looks forward to establishing positive relationships with children and their families. Trust, respect, and understanding are vital parts of this relationship. Karina is a strong proponent of an open door policy, and she invites you to talk about your desires for your child. She looks forward to providing your child with the care and education they deserve.

With an AA in Behavioral Science from Chabot College and a certificate in Early Childhood Education from UCLA Extension, Corina has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and developmental milestones of young children. She firmly believes in the power of play as a vehicle for learning and growth, encouraging children to explore, create, and problem-solve. Her approach involves fostering a love for learning, promoting social-emotional development, and facilitating hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.
Creating inclusive and engaging environments is a top priority for Corina. She values diversity and strives to create a learning community where every child feels welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Corina's goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space where children can thrive, express themselves, and build meaningful relationships with peers.
Corina is excited about the opportunity to use her expertise and passion for Play 2 Learn Preschool. She is committed to promoting the holistic development of each child and preparing them for future success.
