Meet the Team!

Hi! My name is David Yoon and I am a 10th-grade student at D.H. Conley High School down in Greenville, NC. I have been a youth volunteer for Love A Sea Turtle for 3 years and over the years I have gathered leadership experience to create "PlasticFreeNC". As the home of the East Carolina University Pirates, there are many issues we strive to change, one being the overuse of single-use plastics. Hey guys! My name is Jae Yoon and I am a sophomore at D.H. Conley High School in Greenville, NC. I have been a youth volunteer within Love A Sea Turtle (LAST) for over 5 years and have become a mentor for not only my projects, but for other surrounding students. I serve the role as founder for BetterBagSolution, member of the National Youth Council - Project Green School, and an ambassador for the Korean Association of the Greenville Area. Outside of my interest for the environment, I enjoy golfing and hanging out with friends and we would love for you to come join the cause!
