Terms of Service for Plant Bay

Welcome to Plant Bay. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Plant Bay mobile application (“the App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Plant Bay provides plant identification, plant diagnosis, and plant care guidance. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
Reverse-engineer or copy any part of the App.
Attempt to bypass security features.
Use the App to upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.
Interfere with the App’s functionality or servers.
You are not required to create an account to access all features.
Plant Bay offers auto-renewable subscriptions:
Weekly Subscription: $5.99
Yearly Subscription: $24.99
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You will be charged through your Apple ID or Google Play account.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device account settings.
We do not process or store your payment information. Billing is handled solely by Apple or Google.
Refunds are subject to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies.
You must request refunds directly from the app store where you purchased the subscription.
The App allows you to upload photos for plant identification and diagnosis.
By uploading, you confirm that:
You own the content or have permission to use it.
The content does not violate any laws or rights.
Uploaded photos may be temporarily stored to process identification but are not used to personally identify you.
Plant Bay provides AI-generated plant identifications with the aid of Google Gemini for care suggestions, and diagnoses.
You acknowledge that:
AI results may not always be accurate.
Suggestions are informational only.
You should verify any critical information through additional sources when needed.
Plant Bay is not liable for decisions made based on AI suggestions.
You agree not to:
Use the App for commercial plant identification services without permission.
Circumvent subscription access.
Upload harmful code or disrupt the App.
Misuse or exploit any part of the App.
All trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and other content within the App are the property of Plant Bay or its licensors.
You may not copy, redistribute, or reproduce any part of the App without permission.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
Violate these Terms.
Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plant Bay is not responsible for:
Inaccurate plant identifications or diagnoses
Data loss
Service interruptions
Damages caused by misuse of the App
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Your use of the App is at your own risk.
We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
We may update these Terms occasionally.
Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable regulations.
