Subscription Information: When you subscribe to our weekly or yearly plans, we receive confirmation of payment from Apple or Google (but we do not store your full payment details).
Plant Data: Photos you upload for identification or diagnosis.
Feedback or Support Messages: If you contact us for help.
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, language, and app version.
Usage Data: Actions performed within the app (e.g., number of identifications).
The app requires access to:
Your camera to capture plant images.
Your gallery to upload photos.
Your images are processed securely and may be temporarily stored mostly on your device for analysis.
We use your information to:
Identify or diagnose plants using AI.
Improve plant care recommendations.
Personalize your plant library (“My Garden”).
Maintain and improve app functionality.
Process subscription status and verify payments.
Respond to customer support requests.
Enhance app performance and fix bugs.
Send optional notifications related to plant care reminders.
We do not sell or rent your data.
We may share information only in the following cases:
Trusted third-party services that assist with:
AI processing (Google Gemini)
Crash reporting
Subscription management (Apple & Google)
These providers only receive the data needed to perform their services.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or property.
We may share data only when you explicitly authorize it (e.g., sharing your plant identification result).
Diagnostic or identification images may be temporarily stored for processing but are deleted afterward unless saved to “My Garden.”
You can revoke:
Camera access
Photo library access
Notifications
at any time through your device settings.
The app offers auto-renewable subscription plans:
Weekly Subscription: $5.99
Yearly Subscription: $24.99
Payments are charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s account settings:
Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Google: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions
Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited once a subscription is purchased.
We do not handle or store your credit card information. All billing is securely processed by Apple and Google.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption and secure communication protocols. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute safety.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When updated, the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
