These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PLANKUP ("the App"), provided by Flowbit Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. About the App
PLANKUP is a fitness timer app designed for plank workouts. The App may include features such as a plank timer, recent timer settings, workout history, optional camera-based form guidance called PLANK VISION, rewarded access, advertising, in-app purchases, app updates, and in-app review prompts.
The App is designed to work without account sign-in. Some features may depend on your device, operating system, app version, region, Google Play settings, network connection, permissions, and third-party service availability.
2. Health and Fitness Disclaimer
The App is provided for general fitness support and personal workout tracking. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, physical therapy, or professional training services.
Exercise involves physical risk. You are responsible for deciding whether a plank workout or any other exercise is appropriate for your health, fitness level, and environment. Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, unusual discomfort, or any other concerning symptoms.
You should consult a physician, physical therapist, or qualified fitness professional before using the App if you have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy-related concern, or other health concern.
Flowbit Labs is not responsible for injuries, health issues, property damage, or other losses that may result from your use of the App, your exercise activity, or your reliance on App guidance.
3. PLANK VISION and Camera Use
PLANK VISION is an optional camera-based form guidance feature. If you choose to enable this feature, the App may request camera permission and use camera input to analyze your plank posture and provide real-time guidance.
PLANK VISION may be inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or affected by lighting, camera angle, clothing, body position, device performance, and other conditions. It is provided as a general guidance tool only. You should not rely on it as your only source of safety, posture correction, or exercise instruction.
Camera access is optional. You can use the App as a basic timer without enabling PLANK VISION. You may revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings.
You are responsible for using the camera feature in a safe and appropriate environment. Do not use the App in a way that records, exposes, or interferes with other people without their consent.
4. Workout Records and Local Data
The App may save workout records, target times, recent timer settings, language preferences, PRO status, rewarded access status, and other App preferences locally on your device.
Because the App is designed to work without account sign-in, this local data may not be recoverable if you delete the App, reset your device, clear app data, or change devices.
5. Advertising and Rewarded Access
The App may show advertisements through Google AdMob or similar advertising networks if ads are enabled for your app version, region, or release configuration.
The App may offer rewarded access, such as temporary access to PLANK VISION, in exchange for watching a rewarded ad. Rewarded ads and rewards may not always be available. Availability can depend on your device, region, network connection, ad inventory, Google Play or ad network policies, and App configuration.
We do not guarantee that an advertisement, rewarded advertisement, or reward will always load, display, or complete successfully.
6. In-App Purchases and PRO Features
The App may offer PLANKUP PRO or other paid features through Google Play Billing if enabled. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's payment, refund, cancellation, and subscription policies where applicable.
If PRO features are offered, the specific benefits shown in the App or in the Google Play listing will apply. Benefits may include features such as ad removal, unlimited access, or other premium functionality, depending on the product configuration.
We do not directly process your payment card information. Payment processing is handled by Google Play or the applicable app store provider.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services and SDKs for features such as camera-based posture detection, advertising, billing, analytics, crash reporting, app updates, in-app reviews, permissions, local storage, and external links.
Third-party services may process certain device, app, diagnostic, purchase, ad, or usage information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of the App may therefore also be subject to third-party terms, including Google Play, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, Google Play In-App Review, Google Play In-App Update, and Google services where applicable.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misuse, disrupt, damage, or interfere with the App or its related services;
- attempt to bypass, disable, or manipulate purchase, PRO, reward, advertising, or access-control logic;
- reverse engineer, decompile, modify, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable law;
- use the App for unlawful, harmful, unsafe, abusive, or fraudulent purposes;
- use the App in a way that violates another person's privacy, rights, or safety;
- upload, distribute, or introduce malware, automated scripts, or other harmful code through or against the App.
9. App Changes and Availability
We may update, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. Some features may be experimental, unavailable, or changed before or after release.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, operating system, app store version, region, network condition, or third-party service.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, interface, visual assets, logos, names, text, and related materials, is owned by Flowbit Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or any intellectual property rights to you. You are granted only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by the PLANKUP Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how the App handles data, including local workout records, camera-based form guidance, third-party services, retention, deletion, and security.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flowbit Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, exercise-related injury, or device issues arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it and uninstall it.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the App or any feature if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the App, created risk for others, or caused potential harm to Flowbit Labs, users, third-party services, or the App.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and competent courts in the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
