This Privacy Policy explains how Flowbit Labs ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use PLANKUP ("the App"). PLANKUP is a fitness timer app for plank workouts with optional camera-based form guidance called PLANK VISION.
By using the App, you agree to the handling of information described in this Privacy Policy.
1. No Account Sign-In
The App is designed to work without account sign-in. We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, phone number, password, or profile information to use the App.
Because the App does not provide user accounts, there is no separate account deletion process. You can delete locally stored App data by using available in-app data deletion options, clearing App data through your device settings, or uninstalling the App.
2. Information the App May Handle
The App may handle the following information:
- Workout data stored locally on your device, such as plank target time, held time, workout date, completion status, and workout history.
- App settings stored locally on your device, such as language preference, recent timer settings, form-check setting, PRO status, rewarded access status, and App preference values.
- Camera input when you choose to enable PLANK VISION and grant camera permission.
- Device, app, diagnostic, advertising, purchase, or usage-related information that may be processed by third-party services used for features such as advertising, billing, analytics, crash reporting, app updates, in-app reviews, permissions, and app functionality.
We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, microphone audio, or files from your device for the core App features described above.
3. Local Storage and No Developer Server Upload
By default, user data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate our own server to upload or store your workout records, timer settings, camera images, or camera videos.
Local data may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear app data, reset your device, or move to a new device. The App may not provide cloud backup or cross-device sync unless a future version clearly introduces such a feature.
4. Camera and PLANK VISION
PLANK VISION is an optional camera-based form guidance feature. If you enable it, the App may request camera permission and use camera input to detect your plank posture and provide real-time guidance.
Camera access is used only for the form guidance feature while you are using PLANK VISION. We do not intentionally save raw camera images or videos, and we do not upload raw camera images or videos to a Flowbit Labs server.
You can use the App as a basic timer without enabling PLANK VISION. You can revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide the plank timer and workout session flow;
- save workout history and recent timer settings locally on your device;
- provide optional PLANK VISION camera-based form guidance;
- remember App preferences, language settings, and feature states;
- manage rewarded access, PRO status, and purchase-related states where enabled;
- provide, maintain, protect, and improve the App;
- support advertising, billing, app updates, in-app reviews, analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, and similar App operations where such services are enabled;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and enforceable governmental requests.
6. Advertising
The App may use Google AdMob or similar advertising networks if advertising is enabled for your app version, region, or release configuration. Advertising services may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, approximate technical information, ad interaction information, and other data according to their own policies and user settings.
The App may also use rewarded ads to provide temporary access to certain features, such as PLANK VISION access. Rewarded ads may depend on ad inventory, network connection, device status, and third-party service availability.
7. In-App Purchases
The App may use Google Play Billing to provide PLANKUP PRO or other paid features if enabled. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. We do not directly process or store your payment card information.
Google Play may process purchase status, transaction information, and account-related information according to Google's own policies and your Google Play settings.
8. Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Diagnostics
The App may use analytics, crash reporting, or diagnostic services to understand App performance, detect errors, improve stability, and maintain the App. Depending on the services enabled in a given version, these services may process device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, performance data, usage events, and similar technical information.
We use this information to improve the App and fix issues. We do not use this information to identify you personally unless the third-party service or store platform provides information required for support, billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may include or interact with third-party services and SDKs, including:
- Google ML Kit or similar technology for camera-based posture detection;
- Google AdMob or similar advertising networks for ads and rewarded ads;
- Google Play Billing for in-app purchases;
- Google Play In-App Review for review prompts;
- Google Play In-App Update for update flows;
- Android and Flutter platform services for permissions, local storage, package information, and external links;
- analytics, crash reporting, or diagnostic services if enabled in a particular version.
Third-party services may collect, use, store, or share information according to their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Google and any relevant third-party services.
10. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
We may share or allow processing of information only as needed to:
- provide App features through third-party services and SDKs;
- process purchases through Google Play;
- show ads or rewarded ads where enabled;
- operate analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, app updates, or review features where enabled;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests;
- protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, Flowbit Labs, third-party services, or the App.
11. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Workout records and App preferences are primarily stored locally on your device. The App is currently designed to keep workout history for up to 60 days unless you delete it earlier or the App configuration changes.
You can delete local data by using available in-app data deletion options, clearing App data in your device settings, or uninstalling the App. If data is processed by third-party services such as Google Play, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, analytics, or crash reporting providers, deletion and retention may also be governed by those third-party services and your settings with them.
Because the App does not require account sign-in, we may not be able to identify or delete data stored only on your device unless you delete it from the device yourself.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App. Local data is stored using platform storage mechanisms. Where information is transmitted by third-party services, those services are expected to use secure transmission methods such as HTTPS or other modern cryptography.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review the issue.
14. International Processing
Third-party services used by the App may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Data protection laws may differ between countries. By using the App, you understand that information may be processed where service providers operate, subject to their own policies and applicable law.
15. Your Choices
You can control certain data and permissions through the App and your device settings, including:
- disabling PLANK VISION or denying camera permission;
- clearing workout history or App data where available;
- changing language or App preferences;
- managing ad personalization through Google or device settings where available;
- managing Google Play purchase, subscription, and account settings through Google Play.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
17. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless mandatory consumer protection or privacy laws require otherwise.
