A prayer for peace and prosperity
Inshallah (God willing),
Let us forgive our fathers and mothers and stop the buck of trauma. Let us forgive ourselves and those who wronged us or hurt us. Guide us, Abba, Great Mother Goddess. If you are to save this world, as you have and do. Fix us from the inside out. The pain and sickness are inside us—sorrow, hurt, depression, guilt, hate, anger, and remorse. Give us new life at the molecular, cellular, and atomic levels. New purpose and direction into tomorrow. A future that offers and supports us at the most fundamental level but much more than that. Rest when the day is done, healthy food/drink, steady income, safety, and physical/mental health. These five pillars are what we need the most. The rest will come if we have our basic needs.
God, calm our frayed nerves; make us resilient. Clear our minds and hearts. We have been through so much for so long. We are weak and sick. Return our sanity, strength, health, hope, and life to us. And all we once had before the heartache, turmoil, violence, death, and destruction. Could you show us the way? Do not punish or abuse us, Father. We are tender. Tiny like grains of sand. Be gentle, Lord Abba. Teach us and show us. Many have only known such troubles from life. How can we act like obedient children with much hate, suffering, and violence? Let there be no pain, violence, accidents, natural disasters, or mental/physical sickness. Make us ready, willing, and able. And you will see this world prosper and grow into a future for all humankind. A place for every head to rest their weary minds. Tables set with plenty of seats, food, and room for more to come, sit, eat, and rejoice.
Earthly fathers and mothers of before, thank you. You fought long and hard, endured, and persevered to get us here. Let us reap what you sowed for us. Let the passages of time and progress set forth anew—a master reset. Abba, Great Mother, put us in a better place. Transcend us. Redirect and guide us on a better life’s path to walk. Keep us aligned with You.
I pray, wish, and hope in the Fathers’ and Mothers’ names. And yes, one day, I will die. All the people I know or know of will perish—but our spirit is eternal. Make the time we have here worthwhile. Let our work and relationships be at ease. Do not strain us. We are grateful. And we want to receive Your grace and mercy.
So I mote it be.
Peace be with us.
Amen.
