The Planetarium is an unlockable room type added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance. Planetariums are similar to Treasure Rooms, in that they both require keys to enter, but always contain special astronomy-themed items that are only available through Planetariums. Their chance for appearing increases with each Treasure Room skipped. They are unlocked by acquiring three different astrology-related items in a single run.

In other words, every Treasure Room skipped will add 20% to the generation chance. However, if additional Treasure Rooms are entered, such as those created by Forget Me Now or Red Key, then the 20% penalty for entering a Treasure Room will be taken without receiving the 20% bonus for descending a floor.

Given the Ascent path takes Isaac back through previous floors, it is viable to skip item rooms on the way down to improve his chances of the Planetarium spawning and then getting the items from the rooms he skipped on the way back up. However, Planetariums can NOT generate during the Ascent, nor will skipped Planetariums "reappear".

Without Telescope Lens, Planetarium rooms can't be found in chapter 4 and after. Since the chance to find a Planetarium depends on the number of Treasure Rooms skipped, skipping earlier ones allows for a higher cumulative chance of encountering one.

The table below presents the chances if the first Treasure Rooms are skipped. For example, if the first two are passed on, there is an 84% chance to find a Planetarium between Basement I and Depths I.

According to Director Claude Pruneau, the planetarium also boasts one of best projection systems available. With respect to how to find these rooms, the initial chance of a Planetarium appearing is just 1%. However, every time that a player skips an item room in this new The Binding of Isaac DLC, that chance increases by 20%, and fans that are set on finding a Planetarium should thus bypass item rooms whenever possible. Notably, an item room is only considered to be skipped if a player does not go into it, and entering one but not picking up an item will have no effect on Planetariums.

Through conversations with more than 30 faculty and staff members, Kevin Williams, director of the Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium and associate professor of earth sciences and science education, is working to expand the benefits of the planetarium across the campus community.

The new state-of-the-art software and projection systems being installed in the planetarium present a number of opportunities for other disciplines, including such diverse areas as dance, theater, art, music, technology, communication, history, education, all the sciences, and more. The Planetarium is a new unlock-able room type introduced in Antibirth that has a small chance to appear after certain criteria are met. Like Treasure Rooms, they require a key to enter.

The chance for a Planetarium to appear starts at 1% and will increase by +20% whenever a Treasure Room is skipped. The Treasure Room must not be entered at all to be considered skipped. This chance is further increased by an unknown percentage if Isaac has Magic 8 Ball or Crystal Ball. If Isaac enters a Planetarium, the chance will be set to 0% and can't be increased again

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.

A hotspot for school groups, TASM has interactive exhibits allowing kids of all ages to take part in flight simulators and get an inside look in planes like an F-14A Tomcat, among many others. Not only are there areas that allow the visitor to get up close, the guest has a chance to listen to personal stories of pilots during World War II or even look inside a shadow box that portrays the cell of a Prisoner of War during the Vietnam War. The Museum displays pictures and artifacts from multiple time periods, giving the visitor a chance to see how the industry changed over time and its many accomplishments.

A Zeiss projector allows presenters flexibility in creating the planetarium shows at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The next show begins at 7 p.m. Dec. 12. The planetarium is housed in Bruner Hall of Science at 2401 11th Ave.

The planetarium, located on the UNK campus in Bruner Hall of Science, is a 60-seat public science theater with a 30-foot dome. It features a state-of-the-art Zeiss projector, surround sound and modern lighting and control systems used to create educational multimedia programs on astronomy and other topics. The projector can show the sky as it would be seen from any place on earth.

The UNK Planetarium is operated by the physics and physical science department. It was completed in 2009 as part of a $14 million state project to renovate and modernize Bruner Hall. A $600,000 NASA Education Grant helped fund the planetarium.

Telescopes will be set up outside the Hermann Natural Science Center, weather permitting. A webcast of the eclipse will be streamed on the planetarium dome, rain or shine, and those who attend can learn how to control the dome.

By default, Andromeda has passive tear effects of Tiny Planet and Anti-Gravity with the only difference being that tears can be accelerated or slowed down depending on your movement while shooting. Andromeda also starts with Telescope Lens and Friendship Necklace effects by default, which makes the base chance of planetariums higher and also allows you to encounter them on the Womb floors, plus all following familiars circle around Andromeda. Andromeda can't find any Zodiac items outside of Abandoned Planetariums.

Behold the beauty of the stars under the largest planetarium dome in the State of Maryland! Our Minolta Viewlex Series IV star projector realistically displays the night sky and accurately models the observable motions of the Sun, moon, planets, and stars over time! Over 8,000 stars can be projected on the dome from the Northern to Southern skies, any date, any time of day, all from the comfort of our 170 reclining upholstered seats. Constellation patterns can be studied at leisure, or quickly moved from season to season.

For over 40 years our planetarium has been one of the outstanding features of the Howard B. Owens Science Center operated by Prince Georges' County Public Schools and has served thousands of students per year from Pre-K through college. Our programs range from identifying simple shapes in the sky to determining the angles between the Sun and the Moon for the various moon phases. Our Pre-K through 12 programs highlight specific astronomy objectives from the science standards which are best taught in the unique environment of a planetarium. Although our first priority is to serve students attending Prince Georges's County Public Schools we also are able to accommodate home school groups and private schools. College students from the University of Maryland College Park and Howard Community College regular visit our planetarium in the evening to enhance their astronomy/earth science lessons.

We are proud Education/Public Outreach partners with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab in developing a planetarium program highlighting the New Horizons mission to Pluto/Kuiper Belt. This program will be distributed to planetariums nation-wide. We have also worked with the Goddard Space Flight Center and the Astronomical Society of Greenbelt in presenting different programs.

We are an active member and able to support the regional planetarium organization, the Middle Atlantic Planetarium Society (MAPS). In May 2009, our staff hosted the MAPS annual conference, enabling our regional planetarium colleagues a chance to share their work and providing them an opportunity to be exposed to the latest technologies presented by various vendors. We also worked with Goddard in this venture, allowing participants an in-depth tour of their facilities!

The Friday evening shows are at 8 p.m. and are preceded by a streamlined virtual digest of the popular Night Sky Show at 7 p.m., offering the latest news in astronomy and space exploration. The shows include the chance to chat with the planetarium lecturers and ask questions. e24fc04721
