ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*Family Night will be next Sunday at 6:00 PM.

*During the month of August we will collect school supplies for Operation Christmas Child. We are in need of 1-subject notebooks, crayons, coloring books, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and pencils. 

*We will still be collecting donations for Operation Christmas Child. These donations will be used to purchase bulk items that will be included in our Shoebox Packing Party. A tree has been placed on the side table of the sanctuary that includes various dollar amounts. Please feel free to take an envelope and return it with the amount noted. To date, we have collected $1716

*Plains Baptist Church Christmas ornaments are available for $25. Please let Beth Kinney know if you would like to purchase one. Proceeds will go towards Missions. Payment: Cash, Check (made out to Plains Baptist Church, or Venmo @Elizabeth-Kinney-37

*Please consider signing up for one or more Sundays for the 2026-2027 flower list. You may provide flowers in memory or honor of someone if you so desire. The deadline to sign up is Sunday August 16. 

*The Spark Conference will be September 13, 2026 at Central Baptist Church in Americus. Let Buck know if you would like to attend. 

*Wednesday Nights: Beginning August 19th, AWANA will meet from 6 - 7:30 PM for children ages 3 years old through 5th grade. Sign-up will be available through the website and social media links. We’ll have an informational session for parents/families and potential volunteers next Sunday following the morning service. Lunch will be provided. To faithfully and effectively disciple our children, we’ll need volunteers to help with AWANA activities, in the nursery and other areas. Please be in prayer about how God might be leading you to help. There is a volunteer sign-up sheet on the side table.
