ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*We need WOW items for shoeboxes. We are also taking donations for the processing fees for our Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. 

*Harvest of Hope Food Pantry is asking for boxes of stuffing/dressing mix to give out at their December distribution. Please consider helping your Sumter County neighbors to have a good meal for the holidays. Deadline for contribution is Sunday, December 7. The goal is to collect 850 boxes.

*We had a great turnout for the Hope ReStored give away Saturday. However, we are in need of hygiene items (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes). Please donations to the church. 

*The Shoebox Packing Party will be on November 2 at 6:00 PM. Please make plans to join us!

If you are able to help set up, we will meet at 9:00 AM at the church.

*Please join us for a drop in bridal shower for Lydia Chavers Saturday, November 8, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Plains Community Center. 

*Grief / Share seminar will be held Wednesday, November 12, at First Baptist Church in Americus, 12:00 - 2:00. Please contact Gay Sheppard (229-944-0212) for more information.

*The community Thanksgiving service will be held at St. Andrews Sunday, Nov. 23, at 6:00 PM. Plains Baptist will be hosting a covered dish supper after the service. Meat and tea will be provided. We ask that you bring a side dish. 

*We will have our Church Christmas Party immediately following service December 7. 

*Our Christmas program is scheduled for Sunday, December 14 at 5:00 PM.
