ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*No Family Night - Friendship Baptist Association annual meeting at New Providence Baptist Church in Buena Vista. Supper will begin 5:00 PM with the meeting to follow. 

*We will be feeding the BCM September 24th at 6:30 PM. We are asking for individuals to provide desserts. A sign-up sheet will be on the side table next Sunday.

*Georgia Baptist State Missions Offering: Season of Prayer and Generosity - Your gift helps Mission Georgia support churches as they: 

• Provide literacy and education programs 

• Care for families through foster care and adoption support 

• Partner with healthcare ministries to meet physical needs 

• Respond to disasters and times of crisis 

• Support addiction recovery and restoration efforts 

• And so much more! 

Your generosity puts missions in motion across Georgia. Our church goal is $1200

*We will still be collecting donations for Operation Christmas Child. These donations will be used to purchase bulk items that will be included in our Shoebox Packing Party. A tree has been placed on the side table of the sanctuary that includes various dollar amounts. Please feel free to take an envelope and return it with the amount noted. To date, we have collected $1816

*Plains Baptist Church Christmas ornaments are available for $25. Please let Beth Kinney know if you would like to purchase one. Proceeds will go towards Missions. Payment: Cash, Check (made out to Plains Baptist Church, or Venmo @Elizabeth-Kinney-37

*Wednesday Nights: AWANA will meet from 6 - 7:30 PM for children ages 3 years old through 5th grade. Sign-up is available through the website and social media links.

*SAVE THE DATE: October 18th, we will be stuffing pencil packs and folding shoeboxes at Family Night. November 1st we will PACK SHOEBOXES!

*The Harvest of Hope Food Pantry is once again planning for our December food distribution. Please consider donating boxes/bags of stuffing mix for this event. It is a privilege that our Lord gives us this opportunity to help our neighbors in need for the holiday. Our goal is 800 boxes from the Plains area. The deadline is November 22.
