If you need food assistance, here are some resources:
Plainfield Emergency Operations Center (EOC): Grocery cards available for flood-impacted people, as well as assistance with meeting your food needs. Contact PlainfieldFloodResponse@gmail.com any time if you are experiencing difficulty getting food. Someone will answer your email quickly.
Plainfield Coop: There is a relief fund at the Coop for people who were impacted by the flood.
Onion River Food Shelf: Open Wednesday 9-2, located at 122 School Street, Old Schoolhouse Common, Marshfield.
Just Basics, Inc., Montpelier: This food shelf is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10am to 12pm. Located at 89 Main Street (at the back of the City Center building). There is no entrance from inside the City Center. Please enter from the alleyway just right of the parking garage on East State Street. Look for the big green sign. If you have any questions, contact our Pantry Manager, Dylan at dylan@justbasicsvt.org or call/text 802-917-8164. You can order ahead and select products using their online ordering form at https://www.justbasicsvt.org/.

Capstone Food shelf, 802-479-1053, 20 Gable Place, Barre, VT 0564. Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm; Tuesdays (same hours) for fresh veggies and bread only.
Rainbow Bridge Community Center: Distribution of food, water, clothing, and hygiene products located at 81 North Main Street, Barre.
