If you plan to share images or videos of the children you work with during our sessions, please complete the Release/Consent Form linked above. This informs families of our work together, and protects their right to privacy. This form also allows me to use your documentation as material in my research write-ups! If you have any questions, please get in touch.

How do I participate in the inquiry group?
STEP 1
Sign up to share your documentation or reading here.
STEP 2
OPTION 1: Gather your documentation. Documentation can be anything that captures some events or ideas related to your research question, including photographs, videos, notes, children's work, etc.
OPTION 2: Read the article/chapter/material. Identify key themes and ideas to share with others (i.e. the topic it explores, the questions it addresses, who it's relevant to, implications), and prepare 2-3 discussion questions to involve others in thinking critically about the material.
STEP 3
Email your material to the facilitator(s) at least 2 days prior to the meeting date you are scheduled to present at.
STEP 4
OPTION 1: Formulate your Guiding Inquiry Question(s) before presenting.
These questions will guide the group's reflective conversation, as well as allow participants to provide more specific feedback to support the presenter's pedagogical practices.
OPTION 2: Identify 2-3 key discussion questions.
These questions should allow all attendees to participate in thinking critically about the material <<even if they have not read the material>>.
STEP 5
Present at the meeting and engage playfully with colleagues!
