Background: Leatherbound appeared in the guise of a heretical book called "Treatise on St. Calastair as the Sixth Descent" in the temple of St. Calastair in Faithwater. Awakening old severed hands, Leatherbound wrote false words which were preached by the priestess Mother Galiline.

Fate: Leatherbound is now trapped in the severed hand of Mother Galiline, which acts as a Periapt of Wound Closure.
