Call for Advocacy Coaches in Civil Society! 

We're excited to announce a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to contribute to the empowerment of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Cyprus through the PLACE in Cyprus Project!

Expert Requirements:

Fluent in English and at least in Turkish or Greek

Residing in Cyprus (or able to attend face-to-face meetings when necessary)

Completed mentorship training (proof required) or mentored at least one organization/initiative

Previous experience in advocacy projects at local, national, and/or EU levels

Good knowledge of the civil society sector in Cyprus

Previous experience in Project Management

Relevant expertise and knowledge in various thematic areas (Further details available in Terms of Refference document)

Expected Tasks:

Participate in the advocacy coaching training (2 days in January)

Support intercommunal partnerships in developing advocacy strategies (4 months - March to June)

Develop and execute post-coaching evaluation and prepare a report (1 month after completing the program)

Terms and Conditions:

Location: Nicosia and Online

Date: Tentatively starting from January 2024 - End of February 25

Duration: Approximately 5 days (8hrs/day) per a mentee pair

I am pleased to inform you that you are invited to take part in the tender procedure for Advocacy Coaching Services. This tender is organized in the framework of the PLACE in Cyprus: Partnership and Learning for Advocacy and Civic Engagement in Cyprus project. The project is a collaborative effort between the Civil Society Initiative Association (SiTi) and the NGO Support Centre (NGO SC) and is funded by the European Union under the Civil Society in Action VIII Grant Programme within the framework of the Aid Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community.

You are invited to submit your best price quotation(s) for the implementation of services as indicated in the technical information in the part ‘’services required’’ of this document. 

The tenderers will submit their tenders using the:

• signed standard Tender Submission Form,

• Technical Offer,

• Tenderer's Decleration,

• Financial Offer,

• signed Declaration on Honour on Exclusion Criteria and Selection Criteria.

Note: All the documents mentioned above can be found in buttons below. Also, a booklet for terms of refference is available. 

In addition to the offer, the tenderer is required to provide the following supporting documents:

• Bank account details to which the payments shall be made

• CV or list and/or proof of experience

Additional information:

VAT: If residing in the northern part of Cyprus the price should be without VAT (KDV) because our project has been exempted from the payment of this tax with resolution.  If residing in Republic of Cyprus please indicate the price with VAT, since the VAT cannot be reclaimed in RoC.

PRICES:          Financial offer shall be submitted in EURO. The tenderers are reminded that the maximum available value of the contract is 150 EUR/day (8hrs).

PAYMENT:     Payment will be made quarterly in cash upon submission of template reporting documents.

VALIDITY:       Your quotation should be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of your quotation.

NATIONALITY: Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping consortium – of tenderers) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorized by the specific instruments applicable to the program under which the contract is financed (EU candidate countries and/or countries in the European Economic Area).
