Establishing an Advocacy Hub, PLACE in Cyprus aims to strengthen advocacy actions and increase cross-communal collaborations between CSOs while improving the capacity of beneficiary CSOs for strategic advocacy. A practical and sustainable advocacy hub and help desk will be created as an element of the Advocacy Hub for CSOs in PLACE. Another aim of the Hub will be to Improve the capacity and recognition of SiTi as a centre for support to CSOs while strengthening collaboration and synergy between SiTi and NGO SC. Under the Advocacy Hub there will be face-to-face meetings, online meetings, hybrid meetings and webinars, social media campaigns for announcements, and websites of NGO SC and SiTi will be used for announcements and publishing relevant documents. Cross-communal Partnerships will also have the opportunity to create a joint advocacy project and implement the project through a small grants programme while going through a tailored advocacy coaching.

Fluent in English and at least in Turkish or Greek
Residing in Cyprus (or able to attend face-to-face meetings when necessary)
Completed mentorship training (proof required) or mentored at least one organization/initiative
Previous experience in advocacy projects at local, national, and/or EU levels
Good knowledge of the civil society sector in Cyprus
Previous experience in Project Management
Relevant expertise and knowledge in various thematic areas (Further details available in Terms of Refference document)
Participate in the advocacy coaching training (2 days in January)
Support intercommunal partnerships in developing advocacy strategies (4 months - March to June)
Develop and execute post-coaching evaluation and prepare a report (1 month after completing the program)
Location: Nicosia and Online
Date: Tentatively starting from January 2024 - End of February 25
Duration: Approximately 5 days (8hrs/day) per a mentee pair

VAT: If residing in the northern part of Cyprus the price should be without VAT (KDV) because our project has been exempted from the payment of this tax with resolution. If residing in Republic of Cyprus please indicate the price with VAT, since the VAT cannot be reclaimed in RoC.
PRICES: Financial offer shall be submitted in EURO. The tenderers are reminded that the maximum available value of the contract is 150 EUR/day (8hrs).
PAYMENT: Payment will be made quarterly in cash upon submission of template reporting documents.
VALIDITY: Your quotation should be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of your quotation.

Phase 2. ADVOCACY HUB AND ADVOCACY COACHING PERIOD
Content: 6 to 8 meetings over 3 months
Indicative timeframe: March 24 - May 24
Format: Combination of online and physical meetings in Nicosia
Description: Following the Advocacy Academy, participants will transition to the Advocacy Hub. Here, CSO representatives will be paired, bringing together a Greek Cypriot (GC) and a Turkish Cypriot (TC) organization to collaborate closely. During this advocacy coaching period, your paired organization will receive tailored guidance and support from an experienced advocacy coaching to develop a robust advocacy plan. Together with your partner CSO representative, you will work on crafting a joint project proposal that aligns with the advocacy objectives of your plan and the missions of your organisations.
