Greetings from the POSTECH-KHNP Robot Research Center.

The POSTECH-KHNP Robot Research Center was established to develop robotics technology specifically designed for high-risk operations at nuclear power plants in collaboration with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP). Our goal is to enhance safety and efficiency through advanced robotics technology, leading the way for future innovations and strengthening our competitiveness in the global energy market.

We are focused on developing innovative robotics solutions in various areas, including unmanned operations for high-risk tasks, emergency response, and advanced remote control technologies. These efforts aim to improve the safety of KHNP's nuclear power plant operations and enable swift and accurate responses to emergencies.

Through the launch of the Robot Research Center, we will strengthen our research and development capabilities, establish various testbeds for technology validation, and contribute to the practical application and widespread use of our innovations. Furthermore, we are committed to entering domestic and international markets, creating new opportunities, and advancing global robotics technology.
