This Subscription Pricing, Auto-Renewal & Refund Policy explains how Pivot VPN charges for subscriptions, how renewals work, and when refunds may be available.
By purchasing a Pivot VPN subscription through our website, app, or another authorized sales channel, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Subscription Pricing
Subscription prices displayed on our website, checkout pages, or in our apps are shown in the currency presented at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
prices do not include applicable taxes, duties, levies, or bank/payment-provider fees;
the full billing amount will be shown before you complete your purchase;
your subscription will be billed in the same currency used for the initial purchase.
We may offer introductory, discounted, promotional, or trial pricing for the first billing term only. After that period ends, the subscription will renew automatically at the standard renewal price applicable to that plan at the time of renewal, unless canceled before renewal.
We reserve the right to update pricing, plans, billing periods, and promotional offers at any time. If required by applicable law or platform rules, we will provide notice before a renewal at a changed price takes effect.
2. Auto-Renewal
Unless you cancel before the end of your current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew for the same or comparable billing period and you authorize us or our payment processor to charge the applicable renewal fee using your saved payment method.
This applies to monthly, annual, and other recurring subscription plans, including plans that begin with a free or discounted introductory period.
If your plan includes a trial:
you may be required to provide a payment method at signup;
if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription;
the first paid charge will be made at the price and billing period disclosed during signup.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal date.
If you cancel:
your subscription will usually remain active until the end of the already-paid billing period;
you will not be charged for the next renewal term;
cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, except where stated in this Policy or required by applicable law.
You can cancel:
through the platform or account area where your subscription was purchased, if cancellation tools are available there;
through the applicable app store account settings for subscriptions purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play;
by contacting Pivot VPN support at hwilo.app.dev@gmail.com for eligible direct purchases.
4. Refund Policy for Direct Purchases
If you purchased Pivot VPN directly from us through our website or another sales channel controlled by Pivot VPN, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase.
This is a limited refund window for first-time direct purchases and is intended to let you evaluate the service without long-term risk.
To be eligible, your request must:
be submitted within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase date;
come from the email address associated with the account, or include sufficient proof of purchase;
include your Pivot VPN account email or order reference.
Before approving a refund, we may attempt to resolve technical or billing issues first. This does not reduce your right to request a refund within the applicable window.
5. Refund Exclusions
Unless required by applicable law, refunds are generally not available in the following cases:
renewal charges after the initial subscription term;
purchases made more than 7 calendar days before the refund request;
purchases made through Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party marketplaces, resellers, or payment intermediaries not controlled by Pivot VPN;
accounts purchased under a custom business agreement, enterprise agreement, gift arrangement, partnership, affiliate, promotion, coupon, or special campaign marked as non-refundable;
repeated refund requests by the same user;
abuse of the refund policy;
violations of our Terms & Conditions, including fraud, chargeback abuse, account misuse, or prohibited conduct.
We reserve the right to deny a refund where we reasonably determine that the request is dishonest, abusive, or inconsistent with the purpose of this Policy.
6. App Store and Third-Party Purchases
If you purchased Pivot VPN through a third-party platform such as Apple App Store or Google Play, your billing, cancellation, and refund rights may be handled by that platform and subject to its own terms, billing flows, and refund rules rather than this direct-purchase refund policy.
In those cases:
you must manage or cancel the subscription through the relevant platform account settings;
refund requests may need to be submitted directly to that platform;
Pivot VPN may not be able to issue refunds for purchases we did not bill ourselves.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for an eligible direct purchase, email us at:

the email address linked to your account;
your order number, invoice number, or payment reference;
the reason for the refund request.
We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to verify the purchase and process the request.
8. Refund Processing Time
If your refund request is approved, Pivot VPN will generally issue the refund within 48 business hours after approval.
However, the time it takes for refunded funds to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer, wallet provider, or payment processor, and may take up to 30 days in some cases.
9. Failed Payments and Suspension
If a renewal charge fails, we may retry the payment using the payment method on file, where permitted. If payment cannot be completed, we may suspend or terminate access to the paid subscription until billing is resolved.
10. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us for support, refund review, or billing clarification, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the related account to prevent fraud and duplicate reimbursement.
This does not limit any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the law of your country or region. Where local law provides additional cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights, those rights will apply to the extent required.
