Hello, I'm Meg! I'm a senior at Pitt in the Business school studying Finance and Business Information Systems, and earning certificates in Business Analytics and Leadership & Ethics. I absolutely love serving as one of Empower's Presidents. Mia and I talked about starting an organization in March of 2021 focused on bridging the gap in skillsets we felt women at Pitt faced across different majors, and it's been so amazing seeing our ideas come to life. I love being able to give back to using the professional development knowledge I've learned as a business student, while expanding my own horizons through being surrounded by incredible women in a variety of areas of study that I haven't been exposed to in my classes.

Hi, I'm Mia! I'm a senior studying Politics & Philosophy with a minor in Sociology earning my Honors Joint Degree from the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. From its inception, Empower was built on teamwork. Meg and I began contact through my curiosity and her research, eventually creating a club space we can both be proud of - our roots grow firmly out of female students helping one another find community. I am passionate about the role that mentorship can play in a young woman's life and have begun Empower's Mentorship Matching program to provide that opportunity for members. I love Empower's ability to gather students from all over Pitt's academics into a space where they can pursue their professional goals surrounded by women of the same mindset.

Hello, I'm Zoe! I'm a student in Pitt Business studying marketing with a certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship. I met Meg in March 2022 to learn more about Empower and immediately needed to get involved. Empower is such an incredible club promoting inclusivity and improving the lives of women. I love serving on the executive board as the VP of Marketing and getting to spread awareness about Empower.

I became the VP of Events for Empower because I believe in enriching the college experience past the classroom. Hello, I'm Ananya! I'm a senior at Pitt's Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences pursuing a major in neuroscience and psychology as well as a minor in chemistry. I stepped into the role with my experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion as member and eventually co-chair of The Pitt News Inclusion Committee. As VP of DE&I, I hope to build Empower as a community of inclusive women and provide this community with the necessary resources they may need for the classroom, workplace, and beyond.
