A two-day workshop designed to explore the use of pervasive technologies to enhance citizen engagement, well being, urban services, and sustainable development in the context of smart cities.
This workshop investigates the transformative potential of pervasive and immersive technologies in shaping smart urban life. We aim to explore how these technologies can enrich everyday urban experiences, foster civic engagement, and support inclusive, human-centered innovation in cities.
We welcome contributions that expand the boundaries of immersive and pervasive technologies to improve quality of life and enable more intelligent, sustainable, and resilient urban environments. Relevant domains include (but are not limited to) urban planning, mobility, education, cultural heritage, public health, social inclusion, and participatory governance.
Deadlines:
The deadline for submitting long and short papers is May 31, 2025.
The conference will take place in Rome at the Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT), a young and dynamic institution that provides an ideal setting for an event focused on digital innovation. by Taxi: outside Roma Termini train station you can find taxi stand.
by Train: can reach the Metro B and get off the Train at GARBATELLA. There a 15 minutes walk will put you to us.
