Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using PitchLine (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Description of the Service
PitchLine is a voice and pitch analysis app designed to help users check notes, pitch, and vocal range in a clean and simple interface. The App may include features such as:
Real-time pitch detection and note display
Frequency, note name, and octave analysis
Visual pitch graph, keyboard, or range display
Voice range checking and vocal note tracking
Microphone-based audio input analysis
Saved settings, history, or recent analysis records (if available)
Optional pro features, export, copy, or share functions (if available)
The App is provided “as is” for personal and non-commercial use.
Permissions and Device Features
PitchLine is designed to work without requiring account sign-in. Depending on your device and enabled features, the App may request access to certain device permissions or system features, such as:
Microphone access (for detecting pitch, notes, and vocal range)
Internet access (for ads, billing, analytics, or optional remote content)
Notification access (if the App provides alerts, reminders, or related system notifications)
Audio-related device features (for monitoring input, playback, or sound-related controls, if enabled)
Foreground service or battery-related system permissions (if required for certain real-time features on supported Android versions)
Photos / Media / Storage access (only if the App provides save, export, screenshot, or share features that require file access)
If you deny required permissions, some features may not function properly or may be unavailable.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the App
Use the App to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s data or systems
You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for any audio input, saved records, screenshots, exports, or shared content you choose to create or store through the App.
Audio and Analysis Disclaimer
PitchLine is provided as a general pitch and vocal range utility for convenience only. While we aim to provide a reliable experience, we do not guarantee that note detection, frequency readings, graphs, vocal range estimates, or saved records will always be perfectly accurate in all environments or on all devices.
Results may vary depending on factors such as microphone quality, background noise, room acoustics, speaking or singing technique, device performance, and operating system limitations.
The App does not provide medical advice, hearing diagnosis, speech therapy, professional vocal coaching, or certified musical evaluation. It is not intended for emergency, safety-critical, diagnostic, or clinical use. Flowbit Labs is not responsible for any decisions, losses, or outcomes resulting from reliance on information displayed or stored in the App.
Advertisements and Purchases
The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob or similar third-party networks. We may also offer:
In-app purchases to remove ads or unlock premium features (if applicable)
Rewarded ads that may temporarily unlock benefits (if applicable)
All purchases are handled through the official Google Play Store billing system, and refunds are processed according to Google’s policies. We do not provide direct refunds outside of what is supported by Google Play.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will always function without interruption, error, or defect, or that any issues will be corrected immediately. Use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flowbit Labs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
Your use or inability to use the App
Any loss of local settings, saved records, cached data, or preferences due to device issues, OS updates, storage limitations, permission changes, or app crashes
Any note detection inaccuracies, frequency reading errors, graph display issues, microphone access failures, export failures, or analysis interruptions
Any actions or failures of third-party services such as advertising networks, analytics providers, sharing components, or billing services
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may also stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
Updates and Changes
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will take effect once it is posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.
We may also update the App itself, for example through new features, bug fixes, UI changes, accuracy improvements, or performance improvements.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
