PIT BULL INTERACTIONS

Pit Bulls love children and because they are strong, energetic, and tolerant, they are the perfect playmates. Although they are great with children, no dog of should be left unsupervised with children.

Precautionary measures should always be taught to children; such as never pulling on a dog's ears or tail. They should also be taught to never approach a dog while it is sleeping, eating, or to take the dog's food away.

Due to their heritage of dog-fighting, some pit bulls tend to be aggressive with other dogs. If trained and socialized early, pit bull puppies will learn the behaviors that are expected of them. Aggression can be overcome, resulting in pit bulls to become dog/cat friendly. Just like children, pit bulls should always be supervised while interacting with other pets.

Please watch the videos below to experience some examples of why Pit Bulls can be a kid's best friend when they are trained and socialized early.
