On Saturday March 21st, the PI Tuba/Euphonium studio was able to attend the SCRTEC convention (in partnership with the International Tuba/Euphonium Association) hosted at the UTRGV Edinburg campus. They had the opportunity to listen to world class musicians, as well as try out different instruments/mouthpieces. Although the convention happens every year, this was the first time (since 2017) that the convention was held in South Texas. The students had a blast and will bring that energy to further boost our program!
