Pip's Island: Calm Maths is a calm maths app for children aged 5 to 9, made first for children with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and dyscalculia. It is published by A I K A T E K LTD.
The child looks after Pip, a small creature who grows as they learn, and builds an island by doing short maths sessions matched to the English National Curriculum, from Reception to Year 5. Sessions are two or three short rounds of four questions, Pip reads every prompt aloud, and there is no timer, no fail state, no scores, no ads and no random rewards.
The app contains no ads or tracking and works fully offline. Your child's details stay on your device; the app sends only anonymous usage statistics, which a grown-up can switch off. Pip Premium is an optional in-app purchase processed by Apple: a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, a monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

Quick answers
How do I get into the Grown-ups area? Tap the lock icon on the home screen and answer the multiplication sum shown. The gate keeps settings, links and purchases away from children.
How do I change my child's level? Level is separate from age. A gentle placement over the first rounds finds the level your child is working at. To set it yourself, go to Grown-ups and use the level control ("Working at: Year N").
What is free? Pip, the daily session, this week's summary, every calm and accessibility setting, level control, reminders, and the free topics: number sense, addition, early subtraction and the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Pip Premium adds the full curriculum, up to four children and the full Growth Report with 12-week history and PDF export.
How do I restore a purchase? Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase (or one in the same Family Sharing group), then go to Grown-ups, See Pip Premium, Restore.
How do I cancel a subscription? Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Go to Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, choose Pip Premium and tap Cancel, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or free trial. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why does Pip's voice play with the ringer off? Pip's speech is part of the activity, so it plays like ordinary audio. Use the volume buttons, or turn off "Pip reads aloud" in Grown-ups.
Where is my child's information kept? Only on your device. There is no account and no login, and deleting the app deletes it all. The app sends anonymous usage statistics to help us improve it; they never include your child's name or age, and you can switch them off in Grown-ups.
When you write to us, it helps to say which device and iOS version you are using and what happened. Please do not send your child's details; we do not need them.
