This is the best part - regular attendance at practice and eligible grades guarantees you a spot at every qualifier! Communicate with the coaches on what events you wish to be entered in and they will work with you on where you have the best opportunity.
To qualify for an invitational event, you must place in the top three of Pinnacle athletes in your event at a weekly qualifier (like the Moretti Midweek). For example: Jenna places 3rd in the Moretti Midweek 400m, Dani places 5th and JoJo comes in 9th overall. Those three ladies are the top three performers representing Pinnacle T&F so they are eligible for an invitational. Does this guarantee them a spot? No - the top three spots are cumulative, so Anna may have crushed it at last week's qualifier bumping JoJo to the alternate position. Do your best and communicate with your coach!
Attendance at any midweek qualifier assures your qualification to the PVUD Championship meet.
Qualifying for the Northeast Valley Championship meet is similar to an invitational. The top three in each event from Pinnacle will be invited to attend.
Times and/or distances are compiled across the Division One area schools.
A maximum of 24 athletes across the division will qualify for running events. (Pinnacle T&F may have 10, they may have none)
A maximum of 16 relay teams across the division will qualify for relay events.
A maximum of 24 athletes across the division will qualify for Long and Triple Jump
A maximum of 24 athletes across the division will qualify for Javelin, Discus and Shot Put
A maximum of 20 athletes across the division will qualify for High Jump and Pole Vault.
If there is a tie for the last qualifying individual, then those tied will be admitted.

On the last Saturday in April, the rankings from all Qualifying meets within all divisions will be merged. They will be posted Wednesday, May 1st. The top six (6) in each event automatically qualify for participation in the State Championship meet. Other than the top six across the state, the athletes must place in the Division Championships
Results from all Division Championships will be merged with the top six performances from State Qualifying Meets and posted May 8th(ish). The top 30 will be eligible for entry into the State Meet.
An athlete may only be entered into four (4) events and must be entered by their coach.
The State performance list will be published Wednesday after Divisional results are issued from those eligible and entered - The top 18 entries will advance to State.
