Appearance 

Senada is a short and fairly dark skinned young lady. Her eyes are green and calculative, some even saying they look as if an entire forest was hidden inside. Framing her face is long, silky, soft blond hair that falls to her knees. It’s loosely tied into a braid and her bang is swooped to the right-side of her face, with two strands of hair let loose on both sides of her head. Framing her silhouette, Senada wears a jade-green dress with a rectangular neckline and long sleeves. Golden embroidery outlines the sleeves, collar, and bottom of the dress. To give it shape, she’s tied a satin gold fabric into a neat bow to serve as a belt. Her simple shoes match her dress, though they have more of a shine. To make sure she doesn’t lose them while running through the forest, she’s wrapped a long dark green strand of yarn over her shoes. And lastly, for extra glitter, she wars a small necklace with a pearl. Two golden leaves sprout from the pearl, giving a fairy-like shape.

Personality

Senada is sassy shapeshifter. She’s a bit more mature than Link but still on the rebellious side. She’s observant and intelligent which makes her a great tactician/strategist. Unlike Link, she listens more to logic than emotion, even if she is very sympathetic. But she still has her dreams. She dreams of romance and even some fame. She longs to be able to join high society, but knows people don't see her that way. In fact, she does have some episodes of insecurity. Her best trait though, is how loyal and supportive she is of her friends. Whatever mess they've gotten into, their fault or not, she'll get them out. 

She has her flaws too of course. She’s stubborn, a bit skeptical, and is even a little bit spiteful at times. This can sometimes harm her perception of others, since she doesn't always forgive easily. Additionally, Senada also doesn’t mind a small cup of gossip from time to time-- she likes drama. If things get too boring, she might even try to sturr some playful tea herself. And while she's quite loyal, she can at times be blindly loyal. She'll always help Link and her friends no matter what, not always seeing that they could be in the wrong. 

Senada’s hobbies include sewing, embroidering (she embroiders her dresses), singing (she tries to get Link to sing with her, he’s got the voice of an angel), arts and crafts, and occasionally baking (her signature desert is a nut and raisin pie). Her biggest hobby of all though, is fashion.

Biography

*Important Note: This will be the basis story for all her AU counterparts unless stated otherwise

Senada is a druid who lives in a temple, presumably the Temple of Time. She became a friend of Zelda's who then introduced her to Link. The two didn't get along at first, but as Zelda began to drift apart and neglect time with them, the two began to spend more and more time together, bringing them closer. Shared experiences and revelations strengthened Senada and Link’s bond and before they knew they came to think of each other as siblings, even calling themselves so. She becomes Link's student in swordplay and in turn she teaches him about ancient legends and mysteries, some regarding his ancestors and powers related to the Triforce. 

When she realizes that Link is a reincarnation, she looks back at the legends recorded in the Temple of Time. Realizing that a lot of times the hero's ally leaves them at the end, and, thinking of Link as a brother, she decides to set on a quest to find a special potion that will let her reincarnate. That way, she can be with Link again, and he could have a friend that doesn't leave him behind. Senada doesn't reincarnate like the others, since she isn't actually part of their shared curse; she has to decide to find and drink the potion in every life.

Fun Fact:

In one of her adventures, she needs to disguise herself as Link with his attire, a voice-changing potion from Maple, and a eye-color-changing silver mask. She even cuts her hair. Think of Lucina from Fire Emblem.

Combat & Abilities

Senada is a tactician. She'll often attempt to analyze the enemy and place her allies accordingly with their strengths and how much the plan calls for their abilities. Her go to plan, however, is to dramatically enter as a small creature (like a mouse or snake) and then transform into a greater foe (like a dragon) in an attempt to scare the enemy. She'll then morph into whatever creature she needs-- does the situation call for speed? Or maybe strength? A blend? Strong reflexes? Or perhaps she needs to be prepared to change between all these. Whatever the case, she must strengthen all these qualities in her human form too, even if she depends on her powers more. Outside of the battlefield, she also has the ability to speak with animals. 

Relationships

Mardove

Mardove is Senada's special buddy. Like her, he's cunning but caring. The two make for the perfect duo, with Mardove even serving as her scout, messenger, and spy. In fact, Mardove can even help Senada fight if she wished. Mardove is too special to lose, though. Senada had nursed him since he was an egg and had helped take care of his sick mother. Senada had even helped to teach him how to fly. Of course, Mardove has always been there for Senada in return. The two owe each other a lot. It seems Senada has even rubbed off a bit on Mardove, as he can be a bit playfully sassy as times and can always be found preening. Overall though, he's a calm and serious bird. 

Link

While the two didn't like each other at first, they've come to think of each other as siblings. Senada is very loyal to Link and often finds herself joining in on his adventures or even covering for him to his father. The two are very open with one another, feeling free to tell each other things they wouldn't dare let anyone else know Of course, having a sibling relationship means constant annoyance and shenanigans. Both Link, or "Linky", and Senada like to mess with one another. Though, they never mean to actually hurt anyone's feelings. However, if Link needs to be set straight, she'll give him a stern talking to. Yet, if he needs cheering up, she'll be the first one to try. After all, they're all they've got. (She gets along just fine with his dog Happi and his farm animals, too.) Link is also the only other person with the ability to understand animals, which leaves room for plenty of inside jokes. Because they've come to care for eachother so much, gift-giving is especially a hassle, and they'll often end up making hand-made gifts. Link, for example, made Senada's necklace.

Princess Zelda

She and Zelda started out as best friends, but due to Zelda's royal duties, they rarely see each other now. They still get along, just a little more awkward. They would often chat about clothes, flowers, and romance. Zelda wasn't as keen on gossiping and boy talk, but she still enjoyed the chats. The only gripe that bugs Senada however, is Zelda's strange treatment of Link. Zelda's constant pleas and missions for Link began to rub Senada the wrong way, especially after she and Link got closer. Oftentimes, she wishes Zelda would work harder to solve more things herself and get her hands dirty-- especially since she and Link hardly talk anymore either.

Ricky the Kangaroo

Ricky can be quite energetic and bubbly, traits Senada isn't around very often. Sure, Link can be like that at times, but she recognizes Ricky can get pumped up about practically anything. Even if the two don't have many overlapping interests, Senada finds Ricky's cuddly presence endearing. She admires his determination and go-getter mentality. Senada even has to admit that while Ricky can be quite naïve, he makes up for it by being sweet, amusing, and strong.

Maple the Witch

Maple and Senada get along quite well, being that they're both snarky and, at times, sarcastic. In their friend group, they constantly make sarcastic remarks at the boys' failed endeavors, but help on quests and misadventures anyway. Admittedly, Maple can get a little bratty sometimes, but it surprisingly bothers Link more than it does Senada. Since Senada lives by the Temple of Time, which has a wide selection of books, Maple will occasionally stop by to look at the magic section.

Captain Leon

Note: This character only appears in the manga but is only referred to as "father" and "captain". The name Leon was taken from the artist Land of Ink and Charcoal as a sort of placeholder, but was never changed.

Captain Leon, Link's father, doesn't interact too much with Senada. Since he's always at work at the castle, Leon's not typically around Link or Senada during the day. Senada treats Leon just like she would anyone else, which can occasionally tick the man off, even if he tries to hide it. And since Senada's so observant, she can't help but analyze Leon's parenting style. No matter what, Senada will always tell it to him straight if he shows confusion regarding his relationship with his son. Still, Leon can't help but have a soft spot for her because of her kindness to Link. In a way, the two wish they could think of each other as family too, but no one budges to get to know one another better.

Nayru and Ralph

Senada will once in a while tag along with Nayru and Ralph if they happen to be traveling nearby. She'd met the two when they had been traversing through Hyrule Forest after visiting Link and Princess Zelda. Due to Nayru's care for wildlife and fashionable ideas, the two get along quite well. Senada likes to go shopping with her. Ralph though, Senada finds a little strange and pathetic. She does however, admire his determination when it comes to Nayru. If she can, Senada will join them on their journies once in a while.

• She later learns how to transform into a loftwing and flies Link around

• While people always assume Link to be younger than he is, people often think Senada is older than she is

Breath of the Wild

"There's a reason the Sheikah's machinerary failed. It's wired brain was systematic and it's heart, well, it wasn't even there. You need both to survive in this world. The mind attacks and the heart protects. Now what does that say about people, who made it? Perhaps that they just don't understand how the world works. This is why nature will always be above men."

Appearance 

The first thing one will notice is Senada's intense dark-green eyes, the same shade of pine trees. Her creamy blond hair frames her eyes and her head, neatly tied in braids. The back of her hair is on a sort of hooped hairstyle, kept together by more braids. Senada's skin is a darker tan, though her dark-colored clothes make it seem lighter. She wears a dark brown corset, wrapped by a belt made of leaves and golden fabric. She wears a long white skirt with a smaller sheet of green fabric on the side, overlapping it. Both fabrics are embroidered with golden yarn. Senada bears black tights, with two straps of dark-brown leather forming an "x" on the bottom of her left leg. For footwear, Senada has two short brown boots, strapped with straps of lighter brown fabric. On her neck is a dainty necklace with golden charms representing leaves and a white pearl. To match, a gold braclet hands on her right wrist. Once in a while, she'll also wear brown fingerless gloves. Overall, she looks like if the Faron Jungle had become a person.  

Personality

Still sassy and sympathetic, her BOTW/TOTK counterpart is relativley the same but a bit more aggressive. She gets frustrated even easier, speaks her mind now matter how it sounds, and makes it clear who she does and doesn't like. The original Senada might have tried to contain or restrain herself, but this Senada will always let loose. Here, she still has the same interests and hopes to one day work with Cece but isn't as obsessed with nobility. She still wishes for her prince charming, recognition, and a name, but her priority of nature is a higher this time around. While Senada isn't exactly a hippy, she almost holds nature over people. Any disturbance or experiment usually rubs her the wrong way. Senada believes that the forests and animals are almost always better off healing and helping themselves. 

One may think that Senada doesn't care much for people outside of her friend group, but that's not completely true. Yes, she is extremely loyal to Link, but she knows the value of a human life. She may be more willing to do dirtier things to save the world or those she cares for, but she carries a pure heart. All in all, Senada has good intentions, it can just get a little tricky to see her angle. Still, she's an intelligent and creative person. Perhaps not as book smart or as calculative as her original counterpart, but she'll do whatever she can to fight for what she believes is just. 

Biography

Breath of the Wild

When Calamity Ganon took over and Link basically died-- keep in mind they didn't know each other-- the Yiga Clan attacked the Temple of Time and, though Senada fought with all her might, she got captured in the end and turned into a wooden statue, earning her the name "wooden siren". She slept in that prison for more than a hundred years. She was asleep through Link's entire adventure until he and Zelda happened to stumble upon her frozen form one day. After Link freed her, she was rather  suspicious of him, but at the same time felt like he was trustworthy. The two aren't sure why the Yiga had kept her alive, but their best guess is that they thought they could use if her if needed. Senada later tells him that for her whole life, she feels as if she was waiting for someone, searching for someone she kept a promise too, but has no recollection of. Link admits that she seems so familiar. Link and Senada would later share a deeper connection because they had missed so much that happened in the world. But of course later on they become good friends, and get the same sibling relationship original Senada and Link have. Link once again teaches her swordsmanship and Senada teaches him the secrets of the world, like before. And, link before, this Senada must choose to take the potion that grants an incarnation.

Tears of the Kingdom

There's not too much to say for her appearance in Tears of the Kingdom. When the beginning of the ordeal took place, Senada had been in the Korok Forest, where she and Link had planned to meet up to particpate in Korok festivities. After Link gets back from the Sky Islands, however, she does have side quests. Because Senada had been attending to the Koroks, she took it upon herself to find those reported missing. She can be found in places like the Lost Woods, Faron Woods, and Typhlo Ruins. Interestingly, since she's searching herself, Link might not find her in the exact same spot where he had first talked to her. She'll also comment on her surroundings, like how she talks about the Dodognoes when she nears the horse stable in Faron Jungle. After helping her find all the Koroks, Senada will return to Korok Forest, where Link can actually ask for her advice on quests. Senada can help give advice on side quests, monsters, and animals. Furthermore, Link can actually recruit her in battle. Unlike the Sages, Senada cannot be used in regular combat, but Link can call her before any boss battle. The screen will darken and Senada will appear, making conversation and a brief strategy before following Link into battle.

Combat

This Senada's more aggressive side is especially expressed in the way she fights. Here, she utilizes her shapeshifting abilities to the max, hardly using her available weapons. She still learns how to use a sword and even bagh nakh gloves, but just prefers her magical abilities. While she still has a knack for coming up with strategies, she'll only do so if she knows she needs to really play it safe. If she can use brute strength though, she'll get her enemies out the way. However, she is smarter with what animal she transforms into, following instinct more than planning. Similar to her original counterpart though, she still likes to be flashy when she can. Don't be surprised to find Senada swishing her hair or taunting at her victory, wearing a smirk her original counterpart wore. Once, Senada even grabbed a charging enemy boar by its horns by the front, barely skidding them both to a stop by chanelling her animal-like strength.

Relationships

Karu

Karu had been an abandoned egg when Senada found him, his mother attacked by a predator bird. Senada took him in, taking care of the slightly broken egg as best she could. Sure enough, Karu became not only healthy, but a strong flier. He accompanies Senada wherever she goes, always sitting on her shoulder. In fact, he has a little bit of seperation anxiety. Still, he does his part as a scout and attack bird. Senada loves him dearly, and worries if the playful bird takes too long to return. Although, the bird can be a bit of a prankster, which means Senada has to be constantly aware of whatever he does.

Link

Link and Senada's sibling relationship mirrors their previous incarnations' quite well. However, the two are a bit more mature this time around. Unlike their previous counterparts, they aren't children frolicking around anymore. If the child incarnations had their childhoods taken away from them, then these two barely have any at all now. The two are always on the lookout for any potential danger but at least they know they've got each other's backs. In fact, they're at their best when being able to rely on eachother. This is especially noticable in the woods, where they utilize their tracking and survival skills. Outside though, they just want to hang out and travel. Senada likes to watch Link play with the kids at Hateno Village and Lurellin Village and the Koroks.

Princess Zelda

While Senada's original counterpart is Zelda's friend, she doesn't get along with her here. She doesn't like Zelda's experiments (especially concerning the dodongoes), somewhat agreeing with the king about Zelda's "irresponsibility". Senada won't necessarily pick fights, she can't help but give an annoyed face. Link often scolds her and asks her to be nice, to which Senada always tries to comply. She doesn't utterly hate Zelda and her company isn't horrible, but it wouldn't be her first choice. Link will often have to remind Senada that all Zelda does, including her research, is for the betterment of all. Senada though, used to research hurting and capturing animals, remains hard to convince. Zelda really wants to be friends though, wanting to befriend Link's sister and perhaps ask questions about Senada's powers.

The Great Deku Tree and Koroks

Since Senada spent the majority of her life in the forests, she made a quick connection with the Great Deku Tree and his children. While she's not exactly as playful with them as Link is, she still finds the Koroks's childish antics cute. She'll occasionally go check in on them, even showing a bit of a maternal side sometimes. If she happens to stumble upon the Koroks in times of trouble, she'll help the Great Deku Tree fix it. Because of this, Senada and the great Deku Tree share a mutual respect and the great tree is one of the few Senada will listen to.

Cece

Senada was a big fan of Cece's designs right away. Link had been happy to introduce her to Cece, making the two fast friends. Senada hopes to impress Cece with her designs and earn an apprenticeship-- or even better, a business deal. Cece and Senada love to talk all things fashion. Although, Senada is a bit weary that Cece and her buyers might ridicule her forest-life background. Still, since Senada is all about nature, she also seemed torn when Link had mentioned the mayoral election.

Paya

The two don't interact much, but Senada doesn't mind Paya's company. She'll admit that Paya's fearful nature can slow her and Link down, but acknowledges that she's made rapid improvements after becoming Chief. While Senada is weary of Paya's interest in Zonai technology, she does appreciate that Paya only examines whatever comes her way. This is a bit different than Zelda, who would go out of her way to search for the dodongoes (or whatever she was researching). Aside from that, Senada hopes to get some boy talk out of the lady, but Paya's much too reserved for that kind of gossip. Sometimes, Senada will call Paya "Papaya".

Lady Riju

Riju and Senada share a mutual respect. And it all began with Riju's nobel sand seal, Patricia. When Patricia had gotten sick, Riju asked Link for help, to which he brought in Senada. After finding the cure, the two became fast friends. They both have a bit of an attitude, train hard, and like to squeal over sand seals. Since Senada can't really do boy talk with Payapa, she'll often try to bring it up to Riju, often forgetting she's not really supposed to talk about that either. Riju, though, can be a rebellious, and the two like to dream up romantic stories. Senada also loves Gerudo fashion-- espeically when it comes to hair, so the two will often try new hairstyle together. Although, being that Ruji is always rather busy and Senada spends more time in the woods, they don't get to hang out too often.

• Made Link a Stable Heroes uniform so he could sing will them for a few performances

• Senada isn't a big fan of technology, only using it in dire situations
