Ranking Structure/Duties
Pilot Leads
[Command] The highest regimental Pilot Ranks you can receive in Pilots. They will be working with all Pilots, creating activities, making new ideas, maintaining activity, ensuring everything is up to date, and working with the overseers and HC. Leads will ensure squadrons are running properly and oversee regimental activity. [Can promote to senior pilot]
Senior Pilotย
Senior Pilot is a rank EARNED. They will act as role models, mentors and leaders to Pilots and Junior Pilots. Once certified, Senior Pilot will be able to host certifications for other pilots/non-pilots and do pilot tryouts.ย Senior Pilots that show great leadership capabilities can be appointed as Squadron Leaders, they will be able to assemble their own squadron of pilots and name it. Tasked with hosting trainings, sims and missions for their fellow pilots. [Can promote Junior Pilots to Pilot once off cooldown]
Pilot [SGT+]
These Individuals passed their Junior Pilot Trial Period and have been granted their Pilot Wings. Pilots should look to sharpen their skills, gain all certifications, and work to be invited into a squadron. Prove your worth to the Republic and your fellow Pilots!
Junior Pilot [SGT+]
Once accepted into the pilot corps. As Junior Pilot are expected to learn the ways of Pilots, sharpen your skills within your certifications, and gain combat experience. This is a 1-2 week trial period, where 1 serious strike will result in a removal.
Promotion Cooldowns
Junior Pilot to Pilot [JP-P] - Eligible after 1 -2 Weeks
Pilot to Senior Pilot[P-SP] - EARNED, Eligible after 2 weeks as Pilot.
Senior Pilot to Pilot Lead [SP-PL] - Application or Selected by shock overseer with Pilot Lead Oversight.
Regimental Pilot Duties:
As a regimental Pilot, your duties include flying in your assigned squadrons and/or performing miscellaneous flight duties ONLY when Shock, 5th Fleet,ย or High Command Authorities are able to grant your requests. You are expected to observe every last regulation and protocol that Pilots follow, and to ensure that you are upholding standards befitting that of the trust placed in you as a regimental Pilot.ย In times of need Pilots can be authorized by Pilot Lead+ & HC to be able to carry out any of these roles.
All Regimental Pilots will receive familiarization training on all types of engagements: Air-to-Air, CAS, Interdiction, Recon, Transport, and Combat Air Patrol (CAP). A properly trained Regimental Pilot will also keep in mind that even though they are members of the pilot community, their duties to their parent battalions always come first, and you may be removed at any time should the request from your battalion command come around.
501st and 212th Pilots
If you are assigned to the 501st or 212th, your primary duties will be transport and/or Close Air Support (CAS). Due to this, your training will be more intensive than your other battalion counterparts, and will be more closely monitored as to avoid any friendly fire accidents in the field. Your combat sorties will be rigorous, and your presence and work for your respective battalions will be nearly necessary for almost any given situation.
Shock and 21st Pilots
As a member of the Shock or 21stย Pilots, Your primary duties will be to handle transports,ย and or defending against other fighters in the sky. Due to this, your training will be more intensive than your other battalion counterparts, and will be more closely monitored as to avoid any friendly fire accidents in the field. Your combat sorties will be rigorous, and your presence and work for your respective battalions will be nearly necessary for almost any given situation.
104th Pilots
Your duties will include transport of personnel, supplies and/or vehicles. Due to this, your training will not be as intense as you will not be considered primary combatants, but your presence in the battlefield will be a necessity nonetheless.
41st Pilots
As a member of the 41st Elite Corps, your primary duties will include reconnaissance and interdiction strikes. You will be the primary air attachment to any forward scouting missions on a given duty, and you will be trained to fly low, and strike hard.ย
RANCOR Pilots
As a member of the RANCOR, your primary special operation duties have no boundaries. the task is simple, you will achieve your goal using anything and everything provided to you. Flying through dangerous situations to bring success to your mission. Your primary everyday duties will include reconnaissance and interdiction strikes. You will be the primary air attachment to any forward scouting missions on a given duty, and you will be trained to fly low, and strike hard.
Jedi Pilots
Jedi Pilots are trained and utilized for their ability to strike targets with heavy firepower, Jedi pilots specialize in CAS and Air to Air combat utilizing their ETA-2 and Delta-7B. Jedi, like most pilots, will be certified in flying LAAT's but have last priority on clone LAAT's, they do take priority over Jedi LAAT's!
Certified Non-Pilots/Commanders:
Those who are not apart of the 3rd as a certified non-pilot/commander. You are troopers on base that are gifted the opportunity to be able to utilize a selection of Republic ships. You will be able to use ships that support your battalions efforts. During Missions, you will be second in priority for flying tasks, and must only handle tasks you are certified for [unless authorized by GC, or Senior Pilot+]. Supporting the Republic and fellow pilots in ways only you can!
CC Pilots:
Not apart of the 3rd. You are a god amongst men, They will be required to be flight trained. Certified Senior Pilot+ will be able to train CC's.
