This policy explains what information Pilot Journey (pilotjourneyguide.blogspot.com) collects, how we use it and what choices you have. Pilot Journey is an independent information and guidance project for students in India. We have tried to keep this in plain language.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in our free guidance form, we collect the details you choose to enter. This generally includes your name, your phone number and/or email address, where you are in your pilot journey and what you are interested in (for example CPL, DGCA exams or medicals), and any optional details or questions you add. Please share only what you are comfortable with, and do not put ID numbers or medical details in the form unless it specifically asks for them.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write in the message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this blog may collect basic visit information through Google services, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. See the sections on cookies and analytics below.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your question and give you one-to-one guidance.

• To correct errors in our guides when you report them.

• To understand which guides are useful and improve the blog.

Who can see your information

Form responses are seen only by the Pilot Journey guidance team and counsellors who respond to students. A counsellor contacts you only after you submit the form. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only for as long as we need them to give you guidance and answer follow-up questions. After that we delete them or remove anything that identifies you.

Deleting or correcting your information

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information you gave us. Email pilotjourney0405@gmail.com or use the Contact page, and tell us the name and phone number or email address you used on the form. Please do not send ID documents. We will act on your request within a reasonable time.

Google services we use

This blog uses services provided by Google, which process data under their own privacy policies:

• Blogger hosts this blog.

• Google Forms collects the details you enter in our guidance form.

• Google Sheets stores form responses so our team can follow up.

• Google Analytics may be used to measure visits to the blog.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to run the blog, measure traffic and, if we show them, to serve ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then work less well.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information without permission, contact us and we will delete it.

Our guides link to other websites, such as official DGCA pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies before you share any information with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally.
