In this class you will learn about the different types of glass as well as actually making a piece to take home. You will learn the art of cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering and cleaning your piece.

Join us for an evening of paper tearing, gluing and creating. You will have access to a variety of shapes and sizes of canvas board, wood board, keychain and bookmark blanks to create one large or two to three smaller projects.
All supplies are included but if you have a pair of small scissors you may wish to bring them.
The instructor has a massive amount of scrapbooking paper and embellishments in themes ranging from Cottagecore to insects to steampunk to greenery and florals. You are also welcome to bring any bits and bobs you may wish to add or any other medium you may wish to work on with access to the provided materials.

Bring some whimsy to your kitchen with this charming ceramic frog scrubbie holder! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll start with a pre-formed bisque ceramic frog and transform it into a one-of-a-kind functional piece. The workshop covers essential underglaze techniques, including color layering and detailing.
No prior pottery experience is required. Frogs will be available for pick-up 1-2 weeks after class completion.

Create a colourful 30” garden post in this 4 week intermediate mosaic class. Floral designs are created on a 4” diameter pvc pipe using glass, ceramic and mirror tiles. You'll learn how to create various flowers, bees, butterflies and dragonflies to add interest to your garden pole. You’ll get experience using nippers and other tools, as well as learn how to grout.
Note: You may have to do homework so you finish in the timeframe allotted. Exterior grade products will be used, including silicone, which has an odour.
Installation hardware is included. You will be contacted prior to class to choose your colour palette, so tile can be ordered.

Add a touch of colour and fun to your outdoor space with a hand-made garden gnome!
In this two-part workshop, participants will:
1: Construct & Sculpt - Using stoneware clay, you will learn hand-building techniques to form your gnome’s body and decorate. A variety of tools will be available to add unique details.
2: Glazing & Personalize - Once your gnome has been bisque fired, you’ll return for the second session to bring it to life with color. Participants will use underglazes, glazes and other materials to decorate gnomes and add personality.
Finished gnomes will be ready for pickup within two weeks of the second class.
All supplies provided, no pottery experience necessary.

Transform glass into a vibrant suncatcher in this hands-on, one-session workshop.
Participants will learn and apply glass cutting and design techniques to construct a fused glass suncatcher using panels and layered glass. No prior glass experience is necessary. Creations will be fired after the session and will be ready within 1-2 weeks of the class.
