Strength, Alignment, and Confidence
From the Inside Out
From the Inside Out
I’m in my early 40s, stepping into perimenopause, still figuring out how to drink coffee without spilling it on my laptop and loving every chaotic, joyful, messy moment of life. I approach everything with a holistic lens, mind, body, and spirit, and a lot of laughter. Life is hard enough. We might as well have fun while we’re building strength, right?
Pilates became my anchor and my excuse to boss people around while making them feel amazing in the nicest possible way. I always include classical movements in my workouts. They ground me, help me see progress in my students and myself, and remind us all that progress, not perfection, is the real win.
Every class is a learning moment for me and for my students. I love watching people notice the little improvements that make a huge difference: a stronger core, longer lines, better posture, a little more confidence, or the pride in nailing a move they swore they couldn’t do. Those moments are what keep me teaching and loving what I do.
Whether you’re brand new to Pilates, returning from an injury, or just looking for a reason to get up before the world does, my goal is simple. I want to help you feel stronger, longer, and unapologetically yourself, all while having a laugh along the way.
"I am feeling very smug this morning and I have Pilates With Alicia to thank.
I did a 6:30am Pilates class at Union Yoga and Movement
I did NOT see a 6:30am Pilates in my life. Like, ever. But here we are. This damn woman has converted me.
It was a fantastic class, even for this total noob. Alicia answered my very skeptical "what is THIS for?!" questions, and came right beside me to show me some of the movements.
If you've never done Pilates before, why not try it at 6:30am?! Be part of the Morning Club! (Pretty sure we are getting merch...)"
