## How to get a faster answer
Please include: your macOS version, PII Remover version (from the App Store or About menu, if available), step-by-step what you tried, and (if helpful) a short description of the text pattern that wasn't detected or was flagged incorrectly. Avoid sending actual sensitive data — a made-up example works just as well.
## Limits
We can't recover files deleted or overwritten on your Mac. PII Remover works only with text you paste or open yourself, and detection is pattern-based — it may miss unusual formats or produce false positives. Always review the cleaned output before sharing.
