PIHMS Canvas Password Reset

Canvas by Instructure, Inc. is an integral web-based learning management system used at Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS). It provides students with convenient access to essential course materials throughout their study period at PIHMS.

To Reset Your Canvas Password:

1. Email Request: If you need to reset your Canvas password, please send an email to Canvas Support (canvassupport@pihms.ac.nz). Use the subject line: "[Student ID] - Canvas Password Reset". Be sure to replace "[Student ID]" with your actual PIHMS Student ID number.

2. In-Person Assistance: For immediate and urgent access to your Canvas account, we recommend visiting Canvas Support in person on the PIHMS campus.

Our support team is committed to assisting you promptly and ensuring your continuous access to Canvas for a seamless learning experience.

PIHMS Canvas Change Password

To Change Your Canvas Password:

1. Log in using your email address and current password.

2. Navigate to the "Account" option in the global navigation panel.

3. Select "Settings."

4. Click the "Edit Settings" button located on the right-hand side.

5. Check the box that reads "Change Password."

6. Enter your old password in the "Confirm Password" field.

7. Input your new password in the "New Password" field.

8. Re-enter your new password for confirmation in the "Confirm Password" field.

9. Conclude the process by clicking the "Update Settings" button.

For immediate and urgent password change for your Canvas account, we recommend visiting Canvas Support in person on the PIHMS campus.

PIHMS Outlook Email Password Reset

The PIHMS Outlook email service is a crucial communication tool at Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS), providing direct access to important academic and administrative information.

PIHMS Outlook Email Password Reset Instructions:

1. Go to PIHMS Outlook. 

2. Click on the "can't access your account" link.

3. Choose the "Work or school account | Created by your IT department" option.

4. Enter your PIHMS email address, using the format [Student ID]@pihms.ac.nz. Please replace "[Student ID]" with your actual PIHMS Student ID number.

5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
