Pigeon sings "My hopes are all dashed," in I'm Broken to Bus Driver after learning his legs are too short to reach the pedals of the bus.
Denying: Saying something is not true or refusing to accept it.
In the song Keep Flappin,' Pigeon sings "My view is so new there's no denying" once he starts flying.
Destination: The place where someone or something is going.
After fixing the bus the Bus Driver says, "...I'm sure I can get everyone to their destination ON TIME!"

Pigeon screams, "I'm running for my life from an enormous! Scary! Horrifying!...Puppy!" when the teenager, business man and little old lady ask why he's running.
Environment: The natural world or surroundings of living things.
After meeting the puppy, everyone leaves Pigeon, who notices a bus and says, "It's nice to be in a puppy-free environment. And a bus-rich environment!"
Impending: About to happen soon, usually something bad or serious.
At the beginning of the show, Pigeon mistakes the city worker's words when they mention a sign for a bus, exclaiming, "A sign of what?...A sign of impending doom!?!?!"
Lurching: Moving in a sudden, jerky, or unsteady way.

The City Worker shows Pigeon a sign of a plane, and Pigeon says,"It looks ornate to me."
Preparation: The act of getting ready for something.
Pigeon tells the Little Old Lady, the Business Man, and the Teenager, "I just want to drive a thirty-five-thousand pound, forty foot long vehicle on the city streets without any preparation - What.So.Ever!" as he talks about his dreamof driving a bus.
Prestigious: Respected or admired because of high status or quality.
When Pigeon asks why the Bus Driver can drive the bus, she explains that she graduated from B.U.S, and the business man says, "That's Bus University School. Very prestigious, dot edu.!"
Request: The act of asking for something.
"I've got a teeny request." pigeon says to bus driver asking to drive the bus.
Restore: To bring back to an earlier or better condition.
"You have to help me restore their faith in public transportation." Bus Driver to Pigeon asking him to fly to the passengers to tell them why the bus is late.
Stark: Very plain, clear, or harsh in appearance or reality.
In the song I Never Get To Do Anything (Part 1), Pigeon sings, "If you've got wings your life is stark," because he can't fly and feels like no one notices him.
Strive: To try very hard to do or achieve something.
In the song I'm Broken, the Bus Driver sings to Pigeon,"You're loud and bold and willing to strive."
Thwarted: Stopped or prevented from succeeding.
After learning that he can't drive a bus, Pigeon sings "My hopes are thwarted," in the song I'm Broken.

After the Bus Driver asks Pigeon for help becuase her bus is late, he says, "Public transportation is one of our society's most beloved institutions."
