Pierre Lazag

Je suis actuellement postdoc à l'Université Catholique de Louvain sous la supervision de Tom Claeys et dans l'équipe "Random matrices, tilings and water waves". J'ai été à l'automne 2025 ATER à l'université de Tours, après avoir été deux ans en postdoc au LAREMA avec Alessandra Occelli. Je travaille en théorie des processus déterminantaux, à cheval entre la théorie des probabilités, la physique mathématique, l'analyse et la combinatoire. J'ai auparavant effectué ma thèse à Marseille sous la direction de Sasha Bufetov et Sasha Borichev, pour ensuite faire un postdoc de deux ans à la SISSA à Trieste supervisé par Tamara Grava. I am currently postdoc at UCLouvain, under the supervision of Tom Claeys and in the research group "Random matrices, tilings and water waves". In Fall 2025, I was Teaching assistant at the University of Tours, after being during two years postdoc at LAREMA, University of Angers, with Alessandra Occelli. I work in the theory of determinantal point processes, at the crossroad between probability theory, mathematical physics, analysis and combinatorics. Previously, I did my PhD in Marseille with Sasha Bufetov and Sasha Borichev, and then held a two year postdoc position in SISSA, Trieste, with Tamara Grava.
