Random matrices, tilings, and water waves

Our research group at the Research Institute in Mathematics and Physics (IRMP) at UCLouvain works on problems in mathematical physics, probability, partial differential equations, and related areas.

We regularly contribute to the Géométrie, Physique et probabilités (GPP) seminar.

Our research is generously supported by the F.R.S. – FNRS, UCLouvain, and the IRMP.

It is also currently supported by the European Research Council (ERC) through the Starting Grant ARPIE “Asymptotic analysis of repulsive point processes and integrable equations” (Jan 2025–Dec 2029) .

During 2012–2017, our group was supported by the ERC Starting Grant CRaMIS "Critical phenomena in Random Matrix Theory and Integrable Systems".
